I really like the GT350R Stripes (with the red pinstripe - fitting to brembos) or the red-black mach1 hood. I even thought about grabber green pin or full stripes (the color i originally ordered) but that might clash too much with DHG.
Maybe someone actually required payment and not "internet fame" and "exposure"?
I watched a few videos but never really got interested, later it even annoyed me.
As a millenial on my 3rd Mustang (while not even being in the US) i find this offensive. I can change Tire-oil and know how to apply Sparkplugs on the windshield :O
I can see the "into cars" or taking care of them. They want to drive something cheap, or something really expensive looking, even...
Some smaller spoilers and lips come with adhesive tape only, mostly "factory" replacement looking ones.
Personally, i would not trust a big wing, or the new GT350/500 ones with just adhesive.
I imagine they (or even the GT-PP raised wing/spoiler) create a decent amount of drag at 155mph for...
Honestly, i think about putting stripes on my Bullitt, to be fair.. these look horrendous.
To me they look too narrow and too far apart. But maybe im biased because i really dig the GT350/500 stripes, even like the Mach1 or 5th Gen Boss302 (hockey-stripes on a Bullitt? X) )
As i'm more on the younger side (especially for Bullitt owners) i share a lot of the topics mentioned. I“ll leave aside the entire pandemic/cant drive anywhere issue if the last year.
1. Price: Living and car costs have risen unproportionally in relation to the income of the current...
I think the european Ponys get additional underbody coating. havn“t looked in detail but it seems like the underbody is covered in a tar-like coating.
I even had all my previous US imports coated with cable-grease, at least the insides of the underbody as precaution.
I“ve ordered from velocity-group in the past. Worked pretty well, once had an issue with a FR Axleback on my S197, had no issue getting it replaced. (years ago)
Email inquiry for a spoiler (more recently) was also friendly and quick, i personally would not hesitate to order from them again...
Obtaining one in Europe is a bit more difficult. (well as it turns out, it may have been faster as i waited 8months for mine)
Not gonna lie, i like the Camaros Front and Side Profile more, but the usability (trunk) of the Mustang and (probably) visibility made me pick that 4-cam Downsizing...
Financially its generally a bad idea to buy a new car, as the value plummets in the first year by almost 30% (generally in Europe) i bought 2 cars out of 5 new. one with a 30% off (not a lot vehicle) and my 3rd Mustang (others used), mostly because i plan to keep it for as long as possible.
If...
If i have to care about warranty or reliability probably a newer (not boosted) GT but the GT350 is way more special, even though its just a beefed up GT, but so much changed that its almost a entirely new car.
If i had the chance to get a new GT350 vs a GT for a reasonable price difference...
Looks like a completely normal BMW engine. ;)
Back to topic: Yeah i would expect Ford has a Spare-parts Hub for the Car somewhere in Europe. Shipping every part from the US would take way too long or be too costly. (imagine the time for land-freight) or the price for air-mailing crate engines...
For the first 1000km i didnt really wind it past 4500rpm and only gave it 60%ish throttle. up to 1500km i peaked at around 6000rpm, since that (which is about 1000mi) i use all the tach. Obviously only when warmed up, until that, 3000ish is my "redline".
Am i too worried/scared/careful...
Not kicking in on "another oil thread" thing, but does anybody know about some technical changes in the 2021 engine?
Are some drain-back holes larger, VCT, OPG, did they change anything at all, besides the Part-number of the oil-cap?
I“m up to a service at the dealer and dont know if he would...
