So I've given up on the idea of adding resonators...feeling rather dejected. I got a chance to really look at everything again. Short of putting a dent in the resonators to clear the flanges on the differential..there really is no way of adding resonators anywhere but the H-pipe. I'd prefer not...

Going from N/A to turbo and then back to N/A (FR-S -> STi -> Mustang), I must say that I'm really enjoying the feeling of instant throttle response again. I will say I miss the incredible surge of power in the STi, but overall N/A makes a much better DD. I'll concede I've never driven a turbo...

Okay so here's a question...is there somewhere I can get j-pipes made in case the drone doesn't go away? I called a few shops here in Atlanta but half didn't know what I was talking about, the other had no means of bending pipe.

Have you considered modding the stock cans? I've had some success cutting open motorcycle mufflers and modifying them and then welding them back together. Free if you have a welder.

Yeah, and that's why I went with MBRP. I read that every post in that huge thread on the MBRP Street and all these people were saying zero drone. The only time I heard anyone mention drone was in the installation video from CJPonyParts. The guy (don't know his name) in all those videos says...

Good point, though I would be afraid of pulling the tips out any further. They're out far enough that you can see the MBRP logo from the top.
