  1. Corsa Touring + H-Pipe - Anyone Have This Setup?

Well I'd prefer not to spend extra money that I don't have to. I already have the MBRP system with an H-pipe, so I can save money by just buying the axle-backs.
  2. Looking to Upgrade Fluid

Well, it would be an improvement regardless. I'm not sure if I want to invest the time/money in a shifter. My car is a DD, and I can live with the stock shifter if it means I don't have to go taking apart half my drivetrain to swap it.
  3. General Engine Behavior/Quirks? (GT)

Well, I suppose I should have been more clear in my question - I understand that movement of the car during idle is normal. What I was curious about was the inconsistent behavior. Every other car that I've had that had a rough idle did it all the time; whereas with this GT, it only does it...
  4. Making the S550 proud! Matt Farah's review of my mustang GT

How was Matt in person? He strikes me as disrespectful and arrogant in most of his videos where he's driving someone else's car.
  5. General Engine Behavior/Quirks? (GT)

Good point, though I wouldn't necessarily call it a "whistle". It has a much more consistent sound than something I would associate with an air (vacuum) leak. Ever seen one of those turbocharger keychains that you can blow on? They make a "whirlygig" type of sound - that's kind of what it...
  6. General Engine Behavior/Quirks? (GT)

"Laugh not at those around you, but at yourself, for you are the humorous one."
  7. Looking to Upgrade Fluid

So I was going to post and ask about the funky "grabby" feel between 1st and 2nd, but it looks like this is just a thing. I was kind of concerned I had an issue, but from what I've seen it's normal. The amount of force required to shift between 1st and 2nd during hard acceleration is...
  8. Manual Trans. Thud when shifting

I thought I'd chime in here. Some light thudding/clunking is normal and not indicative of a problem (per se) nor cheap/crappy parts. I had a Scion FR-S in the past and, apart from being a totally different car, it had an Aisin transmission and Torsen LSD - very high quality parts on both ends...
  9. General Engine Behavior/Quirks? (GT)

So I've noticed some inconsistent behavior, specifically at idle, now that I've spent a good amount of time behind the wheel and in a variety of conditions. Sometimes the idle seems a bit rough - as in, I can feel the car moving a little. It reminds me of an I4 idle. Other times the engine...
  10. MBRP Street Exhaust too loud - reinstall resonator ??

I was in the same position; I bought the MBRP Street based on a lot of people saying there was zero drone. Well, I found the humming to be somewhat unpleasant and began seeking out ways to get rid of it. At first I considered J-pipes but ultimately it was not worth the investment. I also took...
  11. Taught my 15 year old daughter to drive a stick today in my GT

Huh, I guess I've driven way too many manuals. I find the Mustang to be quite slow to rev. Nowhere near as slow as the Ranger I had, but still. My counter-point to your argument would be that it teaches less mechanically-minded people that all clutches are the same. In terms of overall...
  12. My New Comp Orange CS

I was going to go that route...except plastidip overspray is the worst. I did the rear badges on my Corolla a few years ago. Even in a garage and with the whole back of the car masked off...I still found bits of blue all over the car later on. The other option was to remove the badges and...
  13. My New Comp Orange CS

Oh, and...highly recommend these: (not pictured above) https://lmr.com/item/LRS-1622850B/2015-Mustang-50-Emblem-Black The blacked-out 5.0 badges really tie the whole thing together. It puzzles me why Ford decided to go with the chrome over the black for the CS package. It just doesn't look...
  14. My New Comp Orange CS

Oh look, you have the EXACT same car I do! I personally think that the CS + CO is an excellent combination. The combo really makes the car look "different" from all the other ones (no offense to anyone else).
  15. Missing Nuts on Strut Tower?

I don't think the base even comes with wheels, TBH
  16. Taught my 15 year old daughter to drive a stick today in my GT

Proof that these are some of the easiest manuals to drive. I'd argue that a Toyota Corolla would be easier, but the lack of torque kinda makes it hard(er).
  17. Corsa Touring + H-Pipe - Anyone Have This Setup?

So I've already got an MBRP Street on my '16 GT. I don't mind it except for some mild (albeit annoying) drone and the crazy rasp. Has anyone paired the "Touring" axle-back with an H-pipe? I've heard some sound clips of the Corsa Sport, which is just the Touring + their X-pipe. I'm not liking...
  18. MBRP Street Drone?

I will be curious to see if he answers your question. He definitely didn't answer mine. Either that or he didn't read my post before quoting and replying.
  19. MBRP Street Drone?

I'm completely stock sans the MBRP cat back. Are you? MBRP vs Magnaflow - which is louder? Inside? Outside? Startup? Idle? The MBRP has a pretty nice deep tone before it hits the rasp - is the MF deeper overall? Thank so much!
  20. MBRP Street Drone?

Thanks man, I actually just got done reading through that thread and some others. My concern is increased drone with the Magnaflows. I like the way it sounds but honestly drone > rasp. I'd rather be rid of the drone and deal with rasp. I see there's a 14" (yours) and an 18" for that...
