  1. 2018 Adaptive Cruise question.

You cannot engage the adaptvie cruise until you are traveling faster than 20 mph, but once it is engaged it will stay active all the way down to 12 mph. Why 12? Couldn't tell you, but that's what it is. Once the car goes below 12, you have to wait until you are above 20 to turn it back on...
  2. NEW SYNC 3.0 Build 20204 Nav Android Auto/Apple Carplay

Well then there may be another reason, but Google will be providing wireless Android auto over WiFi, not Bluetooth. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.theverge.com/platform/amp/2016/5/18/11700174/android-auto-update-wi-fi-support-ok-google-io-2016
  3. NEW SYNC 3.0 Build 20204 Nav Android Auto/Apple Carplay

As far as I understand it, Bluetooth doesn't have the bandwidth to support this. The cars that are doing wireless Android auto do it over WiFi. Either way I haven't heard anything about this being supported in the Mustang.
  4. NC Quick Pass transponder sticker location?

I'm fairly confident the camera lens is the rain sensor. The light level sensor is on the dash for headlights, interior dimming and such. Don't believe me? Just turn your car and wipers on, then drip water on different parts of the windshield, once the wipers turn on, you know you've found the...
  5. Time Has Come & A Killer Rental

I'm pretty sure I saw in one interview that Ford did wind tunnel test it to ensure Neutral handling. Not really sure what that means, but some thought appears to have gone in to it besides just looks. I can't imagine it makes a huge difference though or they wouldn't let you delete it, which...
  6. Heated and cooled Recaros in the Bullitt?

Don't take any stock in any of these preproduction images. Back when I was eagerly awaiting information on the 2005 Mustang, there were several shots that clearly showed auto climate control without the big touch screen, but when it became official, you had to get the touchscreen to get the...
  7. Question on turning in lease with aftermarket wheels

When I turned in my ST, it was winter so the very much non-Ford looking aftermarket wheels and winter tires were on the car. They were a size smaller than the stock ST wheels. The guy didn't even notice till I saw him checking the tread and I said, those won't be the tires I'm turning in...
  8. Beep when locked from handle?

I don't trust the touch pad either, especially now that it's winter and I'm usually wearing gloves. However, I just look at the exterior mirror, and watch for the signal to flash indicating it has locked. Usually I can hear the locks click, but they just started building a new building across...
  9. Beep when locked from handle?

As long as no one opens the doors within ~45 seconds, the car will lock itself again, whether you are are in range or not.
  10. How obtrusive is safe and smart?

I think you are misunderstanding how the lane keep and blind spot monitoring work. Even when fully active they won't prevent your from sliding over a lane and smashing into a car when there is no room at all. So if there's room, you'll have no issues. BLIS or blind spot monitoring will...
  11. 2015-2017 Headlight

Since the lens is sealed on from the factory, I doubt Ford sells it separately. Your best bet would probably be to hit up a salvage yard and hope you find one that was rear ended, or T-boned or something.
  12. Modifying As-Built Data Guide

Nope, I don't have it. When I go over to the Trip/Fuel Screens I have Trip 1, Trip 2, Fuel Economy, and Fuel History. There's no average speed. Must be an EU only thing.
  13. Modifying As-Built Data Guide

Where do you find it? I have a 17 Ecoboost and I don't see it.
  14. NEW SYNC 3.0 Build 20204 Nav Android Auto/Apple Carplay

I'm pretty sure you'll have to disable the Apple Car Play option in the Sync3 settings or when you plug your phone in it will just go to Car Play where Apple Maps is your only choice.
  15. Different Driving Modes

The shifter S setting only affects the transmission. The drive modes switch affect Steering feel, Traction Control, Stability control and Throttle response. It does not affect the engine as far as how much power it makes. It will feel like the engine makes more power in Sport+ and Track...
  16. Trip Distance/Fuel Info Missing

I don't think he is trying to reset it. I think he's trying to view it and that doesn't require holding the OK button. He should just have to press ok to view it. Perhaps instead of pressing OK, you need to press the right arrow?
  17. Question For 2018 PP Magneride Owners

It was my understanding that the Drag mode used the softest suspension setting to allow for the most squat. So I'm not sure it's accurate to group track and drag.
  18. 2017 ecoboost advice

You just need a premium for the drive modes. Performance pack doesn't matter.
  19. '17 Mustang TPMS low pressure threshold?

The low tire pressure light should have no effect on any other vehicle systems. There are guys that don't bother with the sensors in their winter setup and just look at the light all winter.
  20. Close-call thread (Dash Cam)

In my state bicycles are legally allowed to use the full traffic lane (and the bikers know this), so honking would have pointless.
