Thank you both for the reply's. I got it off and the car jump started. I tried using the key from the keyfob over and over but to no avail. I needed up using a very small flat blade screwdriver. Basically I pushed it in and slid the plastic part to the right.
I think the car defaulted to...
Puzzled on how to get into my car now.
The car sat int he garage for 5 months and now its dead. Car won't unlock without the keyfob.
I know you can take the key out of the fob and put it in the release slot on the door handle. I've done that but I still cant get that handle cover off. How...
Please stay safe Mark!
I'm in the Chicago burbs too and the weather still crummy. Next week we are going to hover around the 49-55 degrees. I'm hoping that the weather gets a lot better by mid April so I can pull mine out of hibernation and drive it around a bit by then. Its been sitting...
I absolutely love the look of the Challenger widebody. I'm not a fan of the interior of these cars at all though. Love the color of this one. May I ask how much he paid for it? Auto and Manual?
How handy of a mechanic are you? How well do you know the SN95 platform? If you have zero tools and are not the kind of guy who knows how to work on cars, I'd steer away from something like this.
Also, I think there is a lot of room to negotiate on price.
Saw a Jaguar with the top down yesterday. It was over 60 degrees out. Lots of motorcycles on the road too. Mine is still under the cover in the garage. :( I'm hoping for a early spring.
I plan on keeping my 18' GT convertible forever.
My wife and I think long term when it comes to major purchases. We wanted a convertible fun car for a while. Its a garage queen only driven on nice days and have only put about 1800 miles on it since we took delivery in June of last year...
There is Mustang of Chicago in Bensenville. They deal in parts for all years, but they usually are working on older 65-73 years with some fox body stuff mixed in. Dunno if they will have what you are looking for.
Totally agree. Not so sound sarcastic or anything OP, but you really need to do some reading on your own. Don't feel like putting the effort into reading? There are hundreds of videos of the 18' and 19' Mustang on YouTube. Try asking a specific question here and you will get a specific...
My 18' GT is the first convertible I have ever owned and absolutely love it. I had a 01' Camaro with T-Tops and that was fun, but the convertible is just so much more enjoyable.
Just remember to keep some sunscreen handy if your out and about on sunny days with the top down. I learned that...
Not sure if this would work on a convertible top, but I was told that if you get a drop of tree sap on your paint, just grab an ice qube from your refrigerator and hold it down on the tree sap for a minute or two. The sap will harden up and you should be able to flick it off with your finger...
I've never bought any merch from him. I highly doubt anyone here has either. I subscribed for about a month until I got fet-up of the clickbait titles of his videos and how immature an uneducated he sounds when he talks cars and racing. I'm by no means an authority on these subjects, but he...
