I had a 14 Honda Accord (new) that was a rattle trap. I'm in a Jetta right now and oddly enough that thing is a tank. 100% rattle free. Just getting my quiet-time in before the GT arrives in July, LOL!

Sorry man, that sucks. When I bought my GTI back in 2017, I had it less than one week before someone dinged it in the parking lot. I sucked it up and paid $600.00 to have a shop repair it. I did NOT use my insurance. No need to get my rates jacked up for that. Anyway, I would check Angies List...

Sooo nice! I've got my Ruby Red on order. Build date is June 17th. so it's going to be a while before it arrives. You're looks awesome. I assume those are the optional PP wheels? They look great. I didn't get the PP, but I did order the optional 19" chrome 5 spokes. Kind of old school that way.

Fuck people are assholes. Sorry to hear that. You might want to pop over to the autogeek.net forums and post a question over there on how to best clean that up. It will take some work, but I'm sure you'll get it cleaned up.

I have a GT on order with the auto. If I were retired and didn't have to drive in heavy traffic for my daily commute, I would have gotten the manual. But the reality of heavy traffic led me to choose the auto.
