  1. 11.0:1 Compression & Supercharger

I am strongly considering the TVS style blower for my 2015 GT. However, I remember hearing people say that 10.0:1+ compression is no bueno for blowers unless you have a built bottom end. What gives?? Have there been improvements in design over the last decade that make it "safer" for cars with...
  2. PP Wheels & Tires & Sensors - Price Reduced

Wheels are flawless. Tires have approximately 1k easy miles. Very little wear. $1,500 plus shipping, or 1400 pickup. Price is firm. Located in Madison, ms 39110. Thanks
  3. FS: Barely USED Magnaflow Competition Catback exhaust for 2015 Mustang GT

FYI. It mellows out after multiple heat cycles (when warmed up). I too have sensitive ears.
  4. Tape around rear taillights??

That's interesting. There is nearly 1/6 inch all the way around each taillight unit and they are bolted into place. How would the lights scratch the paint?
  5. Tape around rear taillights??

Okay. Perhaps I am a bit OCD. I ended up removing both of the tail lamps, removing the tape and cleaning the residue. FYI Ford did not make the taillights easy to remove. There are 3 screws holding each in place and one is difficult to reach/loosen.
  6. Tape around rear taillights??

How did you remove residue from tape? Remove taillight assembly?
  7. Tape around rear taillights??

I noticed that there are a few 1.5 inch pieces of tape on the body of the car around the top of each taillight. Do you guys have this too or is this something they neglected to remove at the assembly plant? Thanks.
  8. I blew a fuse... I barely knew.

I think that they are called ATR Mini fuses. I had trouble finding an add-a-circuit for hardwiring my radar detector.
  9. DRag radial or sticky street on factory pp rear wheels

I considered that, but this is a "Saturday" car that I want to be able to take out and enjoy from a roll without having to change tires. I guess I'll have to find the stickiest street tire I can and live with it. Perhaps a Michelin super sport. Any chances I'll hook in 3rd with a TVS (and...
  10. DRag radial or sticky street on factory pp rear wheels

Yeah. I found where this was already addressed. Sorry for reposting. What are folks planning to do that expect to make between 550-600? I would prefer to stay on stock rims and this car is not a daily driver. 305 is the smallest 19inch drag radial I can find. I am not looking for a good drag...
  11. DRag radial or sticky street on factory pp rear wheels

Anybody planning on running a 305 Drag Radial on their pp 9.5 rims?
  12. Brand New JLT CAI & SCT Tuner - Gauging Interest

Yes. I may be mistaken, but I believe all X4s come with the preloaded tunes. Regardless, they are on my device.
  13. VMP Stage 2 Kit

    Thanks.
  14. Brand New JLT CAI & SCT Tuner - Gauging Interest

Any interest? I am little surprised since these are basic bolt-ons.
  15. VMP Stage 2 Kit

Do you guys think the mt-82 will hold up at 600hp? FYI I don't plan to launch or power shift, but I do plan the run through the gears with quick shifts (likely on stock tires or mildly aggressive DRs). Are these transmissions any sturdier than the S197s mt-82? Thoughts?
  16. VMP Stage 2 Kit

Thanks. SVTFreak - which stage did you have? Any issues with reliability? How did your factory clutch hold up? How many miles did you put on the setup?
  17. Brand New JLT CAI & SCT Tuner - Gauging Interest

I am gauging interest in a brand new JLT CAI (Black plastic) and SCT X4 tuner I recently purchased for my 2015 Mustang GT. Neither of these items have been installed and they are still in the factory packaging. I am on the fence about ordering a VMP supercharger kit for my car (which...
  18. VMP Stage 2 Kit

I am very seriously considering the purchase of a Stage 2 kit from VMP (TVS Gen. 2 Supercharger). I expect that with supporting mods (full exhaust), I will put down somewhere in the neighborhood of 580-610 rwhp. I have a 2015 GT PP w/ a manual transmission. Does anyone have experience using...
