Personally I don't think you'll hurt it driving without "tuning" for the headers. Most tunes for headers only make changes to turn off the CEL and some will make an adjustment to compensate for the O2 sensor moving back some. FWIW I spoke to a reputable tuner all of you guys are familiar with...

Did you notice the cel flash? I guess it's possible the engine knocked and the pcm pulled timing or went into limp mode?

Yeah, I guess I'm just concerned that if it heats up and expands it won't have anywhere to go except through one of the seals. So when you changed yours the oil was coming back out the fill hole at around 2.7? I can't figure out how mine held an entire additonal quart!

Hmmm. It was on a four post lift so it should have been pretty level. I wouldn't think you could overfill because of where the fill hole is.

I am running VMP's Gen II with Roush CAI.

Rain IS an issue if it affects driveability of the car, which it did in my case. I'm not necessarily concerned about damaging my motor, but if it is driven with a wet air filter and the MAF gets wet the car will run horribly.
