there really is no reason Not to get the e85/flex tunes. since you can still run 93 or whatever normal gas. as soon as i decide on a CAI i plan on getting a flex tune. living in Nebraska I have E85 all around me. heck there is more E85 than 93 here!
So many "Ive worked on whatever for so and so years" who really need to just shut up and realize there working on something for so and so years is worthless compared to a 12 year old who understands physics.
I am assuming that picture comes from some super expensive Ford software? reminds me so much of the ol GM techline software I used to have. missed having something that showed every bolt, nut, ect and was searchable.
Here is a picture. I just noticed this. didn't have time to check and see if there is supposed to be a bracket on the driver side as well? but if someone else can get a picture of the similar area i would appreciate it.
Does anyone have or can anyone take some pictures for me of the underneath portion of your back bumper where say you would take apart stuff to get access to replacing the entire backup light assembly. I need to replace mine but I have also noticed there looks to be some type of plastic brace or...
There is almost no drone with the street race setup under normal driving. People need to realize there is two type of drone. Everyone will perceive drone differently as no one has the exact same hearing. Drone is from certain wavelengths of the sound harmonizing or vibrating in a way that...
like most have said there is no reason to go with a more aggressive gearing in the Auto. Just get a higher stall. your not going to get much seat of the pants difference changing the gears a little. but a after market stall will be night and day difference in acceleration and performance.
Most dealerships won't for simple things like an exhaust and such and if you have a good rapport with one you will be fine, but do not assume the magnuson-moss act will protect you if it does happen. That would be a very stupid mistake that quite a few people have done.
There can be a few things at play here. first like what is said your Mind does associate louder with faster. its been ingrained since you was an infant from engine noise and wind noise. 2nd. when you have headers installed you lose a lot of back pressure that the Cats create. that back...
I need some guidance from people with experience with PIDs and the Torque App.
I've been using the Torque app for many years now. On my Pontiac G8 GT it read knock retard. I've noticed even with the built in extra ford PIDs it still doesn't read the Knock retard sesnors on my 2015 mustang...
check on Amazon.com as well i got my SOLO street race catback exhaust system off of there on sale. its the loudest of the setups but still does not have much drone. No-one knows how to cancel drone better than SOLO.
It actually looks like a nice really setup, but again like all the other companies they are possibly comparing apples to oranges. If they are comparing a baseline no tune dyno to a CAI+tune dyno that is not the right way to do it. There is no proof of what gains came from the CAI. Of course...
