I didn't even think about that. Put some michelin pilot ss on there and I bet it would improve things quite a bit. I bet people will get this thing in the 3's to 60 and easily in the 11's for hero runs.

It will be interesting to see exactly how much weight those components add to the 2lt v6.

I know that you can add the cooling that the ss has. Maybe it includes a brake upgrade as well. We will find out soon enough.

I'm curious to see if GM will offer a 1LE package. With the base 2016 SS expected to perform so well and a ZXX on the horizon it makes me wonder if there is a space performance wise for it.

If the 1LE ran that time that means the new 16 SS will be in some good company. Almost makes it worth the ridiculous price tag.

The weight hasn't been released yet but they are saying it weighs about 300 pounds less that the previous gen. The v6 motor is almost the same weight as the 2.0t in the camaro.

Hopefully those times are accurate. The competition between American brands is beautiful. As many here keep saying the gt350 will outperform the Z28 for sure. That is until the gen 6 version comes out. It will go on like this forever. This is why these cars continuously get better and better...

Are you saying that you held with them until 3rd gear? Was this from a launch or rolling start? Also what year cts v? Both of those cars are over a second faster than us to 60. Maybe they had problems hooking up?

The Corvette loses 20 lbs for 2016. They are constantly updating it. I dont think GM is too worried about the ATS V taking sales away from the vette. It seems as if GM is not holding other cars back anymore so they don't compete with it.

I don't have any problem seeing out of my Camaro. Maybe at first for a couple of days but then I got used to it. It isn't as open as my Mustang but it certainly isn't a hindrance like most make it out to be; especially with the backup camera's wide viewing angle.

The A8 is the 8L90 that is in the Z06 corvette. It shifts faster than Porsche's PDK transmission when in full auto. It will have a small difference in power 455hp. The huge difference comes in the form of torque which is also rated at 455. I have no doubt the new Camaro will be faster than us in...
