Renner, SCCA at Lake County fairgrounds this sunday!
PAX RTP is a handicap that in a perfect modifies your time so that you can compare your times to cars in other classes.

CAM is not softer than FS.
Steve, yes a non PP will be competitive with a PP car in ST trim, but will any S550 be competitive in STU? I don't think so. I am running 275s now in FS and the added wheel width you can get in STU would be helpful, you still don't get much more tire.
STP, if it happens, will be a different...
It's not that hard, sorry that you think it is.
If you would like to continue this discussion of rules interpretation, can we not do it in this thread?
.....and where is the part that says, go ahead and put coilovers on. Alternate spring mount doesn't mean you can add a spring mount where they do not exist. Doesn't say you can, so you can't.
Write a letter for clarification.....maybe SCCA can explain it in different terms for you.
Define excellent shape, I'll have to look and see if the wheels qualify. Wheels have about 1800 miles and include TPMS, tires have about 100 miles and are perfect. Lugnuts and centercaps included. Tires are loose and wheels are in boxes.
Come and get 'em for a $1,100? 5 miles south of...
I don't know how much front spring you are running, but with 500# on the S197 I had an inch of freeplay in the front at full droop.....it wasn't an issue. If you had room for a tender and guide, I'm guessing you had more space than that.
I though notching the strut tower was a no-no....or is...
In regards to this
And this
You are only allowed to modify one bar. So if you mod the front bar, you can not do anything to the rear.
That is actually backwards. If it doesn't say you _can_ make a modification then you _can not_ make a modification. Even though the bar is in the...
I'm not saying that you can't feel a difference. I'm saying that it doesn't mean much because you are comparing at such a slow speed. When you can compress the shock or strut at 3 inches per second then you can make a reasonable comparison.
I don't think a lot of people actually read the post or looked at the pictures.
In the second picture, when the shock body moves down relative to the spindle mount, what keeps it from hitting the control arm?
I have to admit, I have never seen a coilover strut replacement that looked like...
