  1. Best wheels that are good performance wise but budget friendly

Look at RTR's new rotary forged wheel or the MRR350 wheels. Make sure to get good rubber as well. I would go 19" as they are lighter and will be a smoother ride.
  2. Suspension Buildout - Thoughts?

That's a pretty good list. I would look at BMR's cradle lockout instead of the Steeda stop the hop. Haven't heard bad things about either but the BMR lockout will save you some money and no one has any complaints over that product. Mustang Collector liked the Steeda ultralight springs in...
  3. Deployed overseas and new Mustang owner!

Hey man, a lot of people love these mods: MGW Shifter BMR Cradle bushing lockout kit Steeda Differential bushing lockout kit Ford Racing Performance shocks and struts mated to Steeda ultralight linear springs I would seriously look into these when you get down time from mission. Thanks for...
  4. * GIBBO's PARTS HANDLING GUIDE TO THE S550 V8 GT PP (IMPROVE GRIP & CORNERS)!! *

I just bought the differential lockout kit because of this review. Steeda should hook you up with a discount or something. Great writeup!
  5. Official RTR Tech 7 Install Thread!

 looks like an Instagram filter or something.
  6. Official RTR Tech 7 Install Thread!

Wow they look really good on magnetic with the Brembo brakes.
  7. Best Bang for the buck Suspension mod?

    I agree with plc268.
  8. Wilwood Big Brake Kit??

The front brakes are a lot more important than the rear brakes. That is why Ford and most all manufacturers put a lesser quality brake caliper in the rear to save money. I'm really surprised people are wanting to swap the brakes. You really have to be pushing your car a long time on the track to...
  9. S550 GT vs. The Car Group

I always find it funny when a slower car with a better driver beats the better car with the worse driver. That is the biggest blow you can hand someone on the road. I knew this guy who got his butt handed to him and he took his car to the dealership insisting there was something wrong with his...
  10. 0w-20?

Ford currently recommends 5w-20 that meets their specifications. Why are they not recommending 0w-20? Less wear at start up and the time it takes for the oil to get to temp compared to 5W-20. I get why some of you guys are running 5W-30 for high performance/racing applications but why is no one...
  11. MT-82 mods and oil swap

The best solution is to keep the stock fluid in a container in your garage for insurance.
  12. MT-82 mods and oil swap

Yes I agree on being easy on the transmission while cold: that's a given with anything mechanical. Like KZ said, I doubt they will send the oil off for analysis if something went wrong. I will be doing the RP fluid swap and MGW shifter install when I get my car.
  13. Seriously, what springs should I buy?!?

Why do you guys recommend the performance springs over the handling springs by BMR? Would like to hear BMR's take on this as well.
  14. 5.0 Swap into Ecoboost

This has got to be the deal of the century. If I was you, I would sell the Ecoboost and buy a GT. That way you have a ton of parts on hand for the future.
  15. MT-82 mods and oil swap

Thanks for chiming in. So I'm thinking the best thing to do to not worry about a warranty claim is to leave the stock tranny oil and just do the mgw shifter. Come to think of it, Ford could probably deny a warranty claim with the mgw shifter installed too! :frusty: I think I will go the RP and...
  16. MT-82 mods and oil swap

I have seen that as well. Problem is when users have asked RP if it will void their warranty, they say it will. I think I will email RP myself so I'm not getting third party information.
  17. MT-82 mods and oil swap

Can you find a link or a picture that shows this? I haven't seen that and would love to see that as I really liked the RP in my friends car having driven it before and after.
  18. MT-82 mods and oil swap

If you wanted to get the most life out of your MT-82 and still keep it in warranty, what transmission oil would you use and what aftermarket parts would you swap in it? Does the MGW shifter kit help save the syncros? Recommend the Steeda or whiteline trans bushing insert? Let me know what you...
  19. Mustang order

The dealership I went through said I would get either the incentives when I signed or when I took delivery, whichever ones were higher. Sounds like this dealership is trying to rip you off. Tell us the name so everyone can black list them.lol
  20. What do I need for processing if I plan to replace everything but the NAV HU?

Another good option for a DSP is the Minidsp C 6x8. The MS8's aren't made anymore and have a reputation for being kind of finicky. A lot of people do love them though.
