  1. GT Suspension Torque Numbers

150 is a lot. I torqued my lugs down to 125 and had a problem getting them off with a three foot long breaker bar. I'm using Coyote acorn lug nuts from AM. I'm worried if I follow the correct torque spec, I won't be able to get my wheels off.
  2. SR IRS Tie Down Kit Install + Pics

I sub'd just because I want to see what BMR says about this. SR performance will never have my business after this kind of crap. I hope American Muscle chimes in as I have always regarded them as a respectable company.
  3. BMR sway bar woes

The allen head is really nice for 3 out of the 4 bolts since it was easy to torque them from the top of the engine bay granted you have enough extensions.
  4. BMR sway bar woes

The Allen socket I had was too tall and wouldn't clear the bottom of the alternator. Even with turning the bolt all the way until it needed torque I still didn't have enough space. Like anything else in life, the right tools make the job so much easier. I'm really happy with the sway bars and...
  5. GT vs. PP sways worth it?

I installed BMR sways today. I haven't seen any of the competitors up close but I can say from photos that BMR's mounts are way more beefy than the other ones I have seen online. So much so that they use these stupid 10mm Allen head bolts (on the front mounts) instead of the hex head bolts...
  6. GT vs. PP sways worth it?

I love how Kelly at BMR throws all his cards on the table with everything. You don't hide behind stories and you always use data that is tangible and comparable. You don't even push your product as hard as some of the vendors here and I really appreciate that. Keep on keeping on.
  7. BMR sway bar woes

To start, this is not a dig against BMR. Their product works exactly as advertised and is very nice. Since that is out of the way.... I installed my BMR sway bars on my car today. The rear was no problem at all but the fronts were a giant pain in the butt. Reason being is you have to use BMR's...
  8. Official RTR Tech 7 Install Thread!

Charcoal shows the lines of the wheels better than black. I could have chose either color when I bought these. Plus it's not hard to get them powder coated or painted black if I wanted that.
  9. Official RTR Tech 7 Install Thread!

Oh ya, he does everything with me. He loves to turn wrenches. He even has his own toy set of tools. It takes twice as long but it's time well spent.
  10. Official RTR Tech 7 Install Thread!

Here are some pics. No lowering springs on the car yet. Here are the specs: RTR Tech 7 19x9.5 squared grey with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires in 275/40-19.
  11. Steeda's S550 Tri-Ax Race Short Throw Shifter is Here!

After talking with Frank on the phone and watching Arctic Knights videos, I decided on the Tri-ax over the MGW. Just placed my order.
  12. Steeda Vertical Link Install and Review

According to CJPP, you don't need an alignment after instilling vertical links.
  13. So is anyone worried their hood is going to break free?

At 150mph on the autobahn the hood had a little flutter but not that bad. Check the boots and rubber stoppers and if they are good, your hood will go no where. There is a reason Ford has part of the front grill blocked as well as the vents on the hood.

  15. Synthetic oil

What oil do you use Mustang Guy?
  16. Break In - Avoiding the same speed for too long

No where have I seen anyone say Ford uses a special break in oil. I highlh doubt it's anything but the standard synthetic blend. Do this: warm the engine up, take it out and do some nice pulls and let it wind down under engine power like Darren was saying. You're not going to hurt your motor...
  17. Scheduled to Install Modesta

Looking forward to seeing the results man! Those Fiats have horrible owners satisfaction and the reliability ratings haven't been very good either. But that's coming from a guy who hates Fiat.
  18. ALL Photoshop Requests Thread

Could you make these wheels a dark bronze?
  19. Suggestions and Help Please

Linear will feel better at speed.
  20. 19x9.5 squared on 2015 ecoboost

I had the older version of that tire on my STi. I don't have an opinion of that tire. I can say that the MPSS wins just about every tire review for high performance tires. They also have a tread warranty which most tires don't. They are expensive but well worth it when you have a tread warranty...
