I am also sad about the color choices. Nothing is very appealing to me. I would have already bought one if grabber blue was available. Gotta have it green is an amazing color too

I really like this place. Good people, good tint, and good prices. When I was there last year, they had two types of tint. Solar Gard Galaxie and SunTek Carbon. I went with the cheaper Galaxie and it looks great. Very dark and a year later, still very black.
I would pick the ecoboost and install a cut out right before the muffler so I could be noisy when I choose. It really won't even be very loud with a cutout because a turbo acts as a muffler itself. Also, I like hearing the blow off valve and the torque beats the v6 in fun factor
Oh god, I hate this look on cars. I mostly see it on Nissans and foreign cars. The wheels are turned in so far, they barely make contact with the ground and the tire is stretched so damn far it looks like it will lose its seal and deflate at any moment causing a huge accident. When I see these...
Dude don't be worried! You were on a mustang dyno. Don't worry. Try a dynojet and you will be happy with your numbers. You made 342 stock at the wheels. Add 20% drivetrain loss with an automatic transmission and you are at 342*1.2=410 hp. That means a mustang dyno showed you are only down 25hp...
You guys that got suntek carbon, any issues? I read a few years ago that there was a slight haze/unsharpness when looking through it. Has that been fixed?
I've been considering a new mustang gt PP, 2016 camaro ss (if it looks good when they unveil it), or a 2015 Chevy ss with a manual transmission. How do you think you'd compare ur two cars if the SS was a stick?
Well damn! If that's true, looks like I'm not going car shopping next weekend. I was ready but not with that Apr.
EDIT: has anyone ever used a credit Union to buy a car? How much more complicated does it make the buying process? Because I just checked and my local credit Union is offering 2.5%...
If you want a sound like that, you gotta ditch the magnaflow. Magnaflow always has a muted/muffled sound to my ears, similar to if someone cranked the mids up on a stereo and turned down the treble and bass. Cutouts right before the magnaflows could fix it or change to a corsa extreme or borla...
Typically yes and I'd never do it in my own car, but this is ford. They are trying to show the car off quickly and don't care if there is any stress done on the engine. The car is probably considered preproduction and will most likely be destroyed anyway
Can someone try to get some sound clips with the camera not so close and maybe some drive-bys? I feel like the mic was overwhelmed on OP's videos from being so close
I'm sure this car will come with ceramic core catalytic converters that will really quiet it down but it's amazing how much louder a car will get with metal core catalytic converters over traditional ceramic ones. I had long tube headers/offroad x-pipe setup on a camaro a few years ago. I...
I think what I'm considering at the moment is 1 3/4" AR headers with cats into an x-pipe into either the stock mufflers or one of the quieter mufflers like the FRPP touring or if corsa makes a touring setup. That way I get good flow without being too loud all the time.
Then, for when I want to...
My god man, the person taking these last few pictures is an idiot. Probably too stupid to realize they have a filter on, and if they do know, they are an @$$ for thinking it looks good or other people would want to see these pics with a filter on them
Engine braking saves from having as much brake wear and is worth it to me, also bc I'm in gear to accelerate if I need to. Sticking it in neutral and stopping with just the brakes seems like a half baked idea to me. Considering I've got 100k miles on my turbo 4 banger, have only had to replace...
Yup the amber in the headlights is a huge eyesore. And it sucks that there's really no easy solution on this car. Aftermarket headlights would be way too much money for such a minor detail change and probably be much lower quality. I'm no fan of the blackout look either so that's not an option...
