  1. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

I thank that is best bang for your buck non warranty option out there. Terry has sold a ton of them.
  2. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

There is a strong procharger following on this forum. I personally would do a Beefcake vortech v3jt with heritage gearset on E and be done.
  3. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

You could make 750 whp (which is plenty imo) with a centri on low boost and E85. This would run the coolest and allow 1/2 to mile events along with some road racing.
  4. 2018-2019 GT Performance Kit Ford Performance

Even with basic hand tools this is 2 hour job tops drinking a couple cold beverages. Not much you can screw up on this one. ;).
  5. E85 vs no Ethanol

Depends on the tuner. Some like you to bump up to 47 lbs to run a straight E85 tune on a 15-17 s550.
  6. E85 vs no Ethanol

2018 GT with 10,300 miles. 9500 of the miles straight E85. Love it. If you have E85 pumps near you it should be a no brainer decision to dump the pump gas...
  7. Best gear to run with 19 10 speed NA 1/4 mile

Leave the gears alone. Is it a toggle drag mode car or base?? If 300a then a E85 tune will be your best bang for the buck.
  8. 2018 Mustang GT bumper separation

No gap on either side of mine. My left (passenger side) rear quarter valance pops out maybe 2-3mm about 4 inches long. If I press it in it stays for couple weeks. lol.
  9. 51% ethanol on pump question

My pumps show 70%. Local guy confirmed it on a tester @ 70. Car has run fine year around since 18 on E85.
  10. Installing Quad Super 88’s turbo’s need help

Any install directions on an 18 GT? Custom Thor Z Juggernaut kit from Badass Motorsports out of Tenbucktwo Mississippi. Supposed to make 6000 hp on built motor. Having trouble installing this custom grade 5 Titanium rotating assembly in the new custom sleeved Tungsten block. Any help...
  11. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

No clue why except for possible transmission protection. As I had stated earlier some tuners actually lock out 7-10 on their tunes. My tuner said he had to manually go into the code to remove them and there where a bunch in the higher gears.
  12. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

Mine and 100mphclub’s logs showed torque source 7 at those mph’s. That is a TCU rpm limiter. Pretty sure you all will be the same. Probably also explains why manual cars are not seeing these?
  13. CAI open design?

Heak soak is after you have stopped in traffic a few times and under hood temps and IATs go up regardless of open or closed box. The highest I have seen on stock box is 122. My open JLT would climb into the mid 150’s. That is 25-30 degrees higher using basic math skills. Factory ecu will start...
  14. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

You will more than likely hit the 130 one eventually.
  15. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

Ford must have got some kick back or EPA pass restricting their 460 hp mustangs under the table. I mean do you think a dealer tech is going to check that one out...? No...
  16. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

This is actually Ford’s issue in having these stupid limiters in the first place. Why? There are a lot of mustangs out there that will hit limiters (a10’s) at 123 and 130 mph. Yep, another one that puts the car into limp mode @ 129-130 mph. Check out 100mphclub youtube video on that one. Same...
  17. CAI open design?

If you live in the south or summer months stick with stock box. Any net power gains from an open conical filter will be offset with heak soak and high iat’s which reduces command timing.
  18. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

Wow, both ED and Roush in same boat. Crazy... Hopefully Roush will do the right thing and alter the tune.
  19. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

These limiters are in the TCU code. Most of the tuners/calibrations just adjust the ECU code. Not enough field testing is your answer. The A10 is an animal within itself. My car had limiters same 122-123 and 130 mph. Stock yes. Even with the speed limiter shut off in tune it does not stop these...
  20. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

I unplugged mine. It does not over charge the battery unplugged btw. Two plugs 1) by the battery and 2) down below fuse box. My battery voltage was swinging wildly 12.1-14.7 (plugged in) and autozone said my battery was testing bad. Ford checked it said it was fine. No more problems. fyi.
