Hey Guys,
Just picked up my car from the speed shop last night. Had my pypes catless long tubes, 2018 intake manifold and Lund tune installed.
The engine feels really strong and the power comes on so much harder and faster and revving in the danger zone past 7 feels so naughty.
I did the...
+1 to what Beefcake said. I ordered my Pypes Catless long tubes thru them. Great Service and great Price. Went with the Stepped headers because I plan to stay N/A and makes sense to preserve that low end Tq. Getting my car back from the shop later this week with the headers installed.
Hi all,
Unfortunately the time to replace my tires has come sooner than expected due to a bad alignment on these low springs. (will get a new one with the new tires)
Currently my car is on Vossen CVTs 20x9F and 20x10.5R on 255/35/20 and 295/30/20 tires.
Since its a 10.5 inch wheel I'd like...
Happens all the time, almost every time I drive the car. Half the time its middle aged guys telling me how they used to have a stang until they got married or that they have one back in the garage.
A couple weeks ago I was downtown at a red light with my windows down. Then all the sudden...
I’m super excited to hear it in person. I found some videos on YouTube of the sports with headers and to my ears sounds like the best set up of any I’ve heard. Extremes with headers seems to be just noise but the sports give it a crisp tone.
I have the Corsa Sport Cat back on now. Getting Pypes Cat Less Longtubes installed Thursday.
I just rode behind my car while my buddy drove my car for the first time yesterday. And from outside the car the Corsa Sports are surprisingly loud for how refined they are in the cabin while...
Hi all,
I'm getting this 2018 Manifold put on Thursday at a local speed shop. I have a lund 93 tune with nguage and MMR IMRC lock outs. Will I need to buy/bring anything else to the shop for install?
I'd avoid buying new again. Its tough to stomach what you might have lost in depreciation from buying new and selling, wouldn't want to do it twice. Can probably scoop up a used DIB Eco for super cheap now.
Stangs are one of the best cars to modify as they have so much potential (due to many factory weaknesses) because Mustangs have to be all things to all people, grand tourers, dailys, racecars, grocery getters.
With that said I bought my car with knowing I wanted to mod it in mind. Instead of...
Would love to run e85 but to my knowledge there isn't much available in the Pittsburgh area which would probably make it more of a hassle than its worth. How much extra WHP would e85 be worth? And does the Lund FF tune let you switch between 93 and e85 on the fly?
Hi All,
I've used the search function a bunch but sorting through tons of posts and threads its difficult to find the exact information I'm looking for between all the dialogue.
I just ordered a 2018 Intake Manifold, Pypes Catless Headers, and a Lund 93 Tune with Ngauge to go with my Airraid...
Hi all,
I’m currently in the market for a 93 octane tune for my GT. I have browsed the forums countless times and can’t figure out which tune to go for. I’ve been thinking Lund after all the rave reviews, but I wanted to do my due diligence. My car already has an Airaid enclosed cold air...
Just made a road trip to DC in my Performance Pack GT. On the way down I drove very economically keeping my speed between 60-70 and got up to 28mpg. On the way back to Pittsburgh I drove much faster closer to around 80 for a lot of the drive and my mpg dropped to ~24
Literally took me 30 seconds to knock off the clutch assist spring on my 15. Must do mod imo. Clutch feel is wayyyyyy better now, no idea how people drive on the stock spring.
Just took a road trip to DC from Pittsburgh. Was able to get 28 MPG trying my best to save fuel. Was a little bit more spirited on the way back on open stretches of road and averaged ~25 mpg. But usually I only get ~17 for regular driving and I usually try to reach red line when possible.
