same here..mine is quite the oil-consumer as well. I just keep an eye on it and add oil whenever needed. I do notice that once the oil hits the lower mark on the dipstick, it tends to stay there for quite some time. But as you can tell by my wording, I never really kept a journal.
As discussed...
what's your take on running E85? have been doubting this since GT350 is not 'officially' flex fuel compatible like the GT. Are we sure the injectors & lines don't deteriorate over time/can handle this?
I know this sound enhancement is a fact and discussed all over the place, but has anyone actually ever heard sounds coming from the speakers (if so which one?)? I did a full blown listening study with my wife, but we concluded no engine sounds are being emitted from the speakers - also outside...
Glass is flush and windows open and close as they should. Both doors the same. The weatherstripping isnt really aligned and the car sound a bit cheap when closing the door + needs a good swing, or it will go half way only.
So - how hard do you have to smack the door for it to close properly?
I have to give it quite a swing..I don't mind, but I can remember the fridge-doorthud my 4-series gave vs the clunk the gt350 gives..
Installed pedalmax...wow, the awakening. Also did steeda spring finally, better feel. Rly dont understand the stock double spring design..
Tomorrow..MGW!
oh wow I've been sleeping, didnt even know Ford changed the oil filter to a cartridge type...unfortunately they handed me a 17 GT350 with a conventional screw on crapper:(
Sure do - but you know what to expect. Here they simply leave potholes as is or put a steel plate on top of it..looks like roads and trains/subways were build in the 60s and never got a serious overhaul- but thats a different discussion.
More interestingly Lemers - have you been able to test...
Same here - also comes with a high pitched sound, thought because of BS roads here. I'm from Europe and never experienced these 3rd world roads as in/around NYC.
Non-Rs dont come with spacers, right?
Believe it or not- but one of the major misses imo is the absence of an onboard oil level indicator. The moment the oil pressure drops you're mostly too late.. also, the fantasticly engineerd dipsticklocation together with the strut, require patience and time to measure.
So, anyone know...
