Hi guys,
I bought a brand new MBRP Race Catback for Ecoboost Mustang two weeks ago, it sounds amazing but it's a bit of loud for me and my gf so I eventually ended up going with a custom made exhaust.
I'm selling MBRP Race, it's practically a brand new piece which I have on car for 5 days now...
Installed my new exhaust yesterday, the sound is absolutely fantastic! However, I'm trying to figure out how to fix a slight low RPM drone it has, thinking about adding a resonator.

Hey! I bought and installed a new MBRP Race Catback. I love the sound, it's deep and not overly loud as I was afraid of. Sound clip here - https://www.instagram.com/p/BFCgGydmDVp/
The only problem I have is a low RPM drone (between 1500-2000 RPMs) which is kinda annoying when constantly...
That's actually what I'm researching now. Since it's a 317 hp engine I expected like 285 WHP but seems like the real numbers are much lower. So after all it seems that 300-310 WPH upgrade is something I will really notice.
Hi,
I recently bought a new catback exhaust, following mods will be a new intercooler and downpipe, then a tune.
What power can I expect from this setup? I want something safe, suitable for daily driving. I saw some people claiming to get 350+ whp from the stock turbo, is that real and...
Subbing here as I'm going through the exact same process. My goal is to have around 350 whp and I'm confused whether it will be enough to just tune it and change the exhaust+downpipe+intercooler or I will need to do bigger modifications.
BTW, I'm thinking about doing the same. My car is Guard Green with chrome surround and light wheels. How is your dealer gonna paint the wheels? I want them black as exactly on the second picture you posted but I was told that painted wheels tend to peel of after some time and no paint ever will...
I just showed you an engine that blowed because of that, but you probably know better than Ford.
I also showed you warnings from the best and the most respected Mustang tuner here, but you also deny it.
So OK, we agree to disagree.
Good luck to your buyer, fingers crossed.
Sure mate, here you go:
Guy's engine blown because of BoostMax, Ford declined the warranty. That happens if you try to modify your boost with a proper tune.

Adam (the most respected Mustang tuner here) says that BoostMax blowed more...
To be honest, this is a very dangerous device. It basically cheats your ECU which is receiving fake inputs and can seriously damage your engine as result.
Check MBRP Street / Race versions then. My race is on the way. Very deep tone, conservative in low rpm cruising, loud and aggressive when you want it.

So I went for a little road trip with my girlfriend to beautiful Slovakia's mountains. Everything was good until I decided to overtake some guy in an old Punto. It was a straight road but mister was not paying attention to anything, especially his rear mirrors. He just randomly crossed the lane...
