I can measure tomorrow, but trust me, I've bought both. The RokBlokz offer significant more coverage than the ZL1 ao flaps, which are probably just fine for a performance pack, but not the pp2. I would have the fronts waiting in my garage for when the car shows up. The rear throws no where...
I started with ZL1 AO premium. They are fine from the rear, but the fronts didn't cut it for the width of the pp2. I even modified them by widening the mounting slot. I ended up buying RokBlokz for the front, and they are a big improvement. Better hardware, slightly wider, thicker material and...
Has anyone had to touch up their wheels yet? I got an extremely minor curb rash, but I'm guessing my fellow pp2 owners can relate to the sick feeling in my gut every time I glance at it. I'm trying to figure out what touch up paint matched the "dark tarnish" silver, dealer has been no help.
Added a Boomba shifter. Even though it just slips over the stock "nub", it feels great and feels much more accurate when shifting. I love the low height. Put the stock knob back on while I decide what I want. Install was incredibly easy.
Appreciate it, I wanted something different and that one jumped out at me. Now that I've installed it and realized how easy it was, I'm sure my ADD will take over and I'll be swapping it out every couple weeks:crazy:
Not at the moment, but that could change. The lower is flat black instead of glossy, which is what I didn't like about the stock grill, plus that giant chrome pony doesn't do it for me. I wish somebody would make a good vent that looks like a scoop, but all I've seen is the Roush and those...
What about tinting the side markers? I'm thinking getting rid of all the orange and most of the white, especially the turn signals up to the fogs. I have a white roll of tint, just need to get to it.
I think they were thinking about performance over aesthetics. My pp2 throws everything it touches at the rear lower quarter just in front of the rear tire. I've modified and repositioned some zl1 addons flaps and am in the process of touching up paint and then covering with 3m protecting. It...
PP2>CS3>PP1, but that's just one opinion. The CS3's look great and look so much better than the PP1.
On another note, tell me about those rotors:shock:
Yep, same thing. Just grind about an â…›" from each of the too-small slots and you'll be good. I was too impatient and wanted them on the car, didn't want the hassle of repacking, shipping, and waiting. I probably should have called Steeda where I bought mine directly from, maybe the would have...
