  1. Thoughts on a different method to 'electrify' Mustang... super/ultra capacitor technology.

Actually got to drive a tesla model 3 today, first EV I've ever driven. I have to say, it's very cool, makes me want to keep my eye on the mach e when they release the GT version.
  2. Thoughts on a different method to 'electrify' Mustang... super/ultra capacitor technology.

That's the hope. Battery technology is really the weak link for EV's. From an efficiency standpoint ICE engines can't compare, I want to love EV's especially with their simplicity....
  3. Thoughts on a different method to 'electrify' Mustang... super/ultra capacitor technology.

Pay attention to solid state battery technology. When these arrive it will make EV's quite a bit more attractive.
  4. Stainless Works no longer selling anything labeled "Offroad Use Only"

🙄 I don't need to poke holes in your flawed reasoning. I can't fix stupid.
  5. Stainless Works no longer selling anything labeled "Offroad Use Only"

It's not your "right" to run catless. Or is this covered under "freedom of speech?"
  6. Stainless Works no longer selling anything labeled "Offroad Use Only"

Because we all have to breathe the crap you spew out of your catless car. The sphere we lived on is a closed system. Shouldn't be too hard to figure out.
  7. Strategies to keep cats from melting

Is there a relationship between CR and EGT's running boost? Curious since the predator is 9.5:1 and the coyote 2 & 3 being 11:1 and 12:1 respectively.
  8. Stainless Works no longer selling anything labeled "Offroad Use Only"

Exactly, it's gotten to the point where the EPA couldn't look the other way. Good job idiots. I'd love to see a compromise where a car could still be tuned but certain emissions related parameters were off limits. Catless products should require the end user to submit documentation that the...
  9. Recaro Seats or Base Seats???? (GT)

My wife hates them but I love them. Personally I wouldn't have bought my car if they weren't installed.
  10. Jon Lund Jr. discusses latest rumors about Lund Racing/future of EFI Tuning

The other positive in this (other than no longer being able to bypass emissions equipment) is hopefully this will also eliminate crackle tunes.
  11. Jon Lund Jr. Discusses The Future of Tuning Modern Vehicles

"Car culture" as you put it and the tuning vendors did it to themselves. The EPA could no longer look the other way once cats, DPF & SCR systems started getting intentionally bypassed.
  12. Jon Lund Jr. discusses latest rumors about Lund Racing/future of EFI Tuning

No. With OBD-II being introduced on all vehicles starting in 1996 emissions testing itself wasn't required. They vehicle has the ability to monitor itself and its own emissions. On a legal OEM calibration your car would immediately throw a code (CEL). Problem is these tuners made it so the...
  13. Jon Lund Jr. discusses latest rumors about Lund Racing/future of EFI Tuning

Our gas guzzler tax started as part of the energy act of 1978. It was used as an incentive to get manufactures to produce more fuel efficient cars and was partially a result of the oil crisis of the 70's. The tax itself is collected by the IRS and goes to the general fund.
  14. Jon Lund Jr. discusses latest rumors about Lund Racing/future of EFI Tuning

Gas guzzler tax has nothing to do with the govt making money, rather used as a deterrent to buying what is deemed as a fuel inefficient vehicle.
  15. Jon Lund Jr. discusses latest rumors about Lund Racing/future of EFI Tuning

I don't think these "tuners" are going to be able to hide behind their "off-road use only" language for much longer. Its unlikely the EPA would've cared had all these diesel dorks not been rolling coal, and others in gas vehicles doing cat deletes. Play by the rules, EPA air quality laws...
  16. Is this the beginning of the end for catless products [CLOSED DUE TO POLITICS]

Well, it's not your right to be a jackass and remove your cats on your car.
