Yeah, I think you will need something a little finer to remove the haze. V38 from chemical guys or something with a grit finer than 2500 SHOULD remove the haze. But this is a good example of doing a test spot first... but, you should have no problem getting it to be perfect again.

What cutting / optical compound did you use? v38 should be the last polish you use...should take that haze out.
