Regarding the temps? No, it stays extremely cool all the time. On a hot 100 degree day I might be able to get it up to 170 while driving aggressively.
As far as the horrific downshifts, those have been improved 1. they changed a few parts in my valve body - that helped a little. 2. I got the...
I remember being a kid growing up, playing outside around 10am in the morning. It was so hot out. The sun felt like it was searing my skin. I remember the temperature being in the low 90's most mornings and only getting hotter from there.
Then something changed. It got cooler for a few years...
While I have not had this exact same situation, my car has also gone into limp mode with no codes or records of it occurring were found by my scanner or by my local shop scanning it either.
I would love to know if there is a place to find hidden codes.
Right now, I only use Peacock. If it wasn't for Indycar and IMSA I would not even have that.
However, next year I do not know what I'm going to do. I love watching Indycar practice and qualifying but with their new TV deal on Fox for 2025 (which is a downgrade if you are young and a cord...
I would (technically have) change mine well before that 150k mark.
With all of my problems, they opened my trans up and replaced part of the valve body (updated some parts) and told me that they had to do a full flush because there was more debris than normal in the trans. After they replaced...
I know nothing of Garmin Catalyst. But if it is anything like their Garmin Connect stuff, I would think you should be able to change that stuff after a session in the app on your phone... based on each activity / recording.
I am skeptical that it has lowered the RPMs at a given speed. HOWEVER, I suppose the out washing of the strakes could possibly reduce the amount of high velocity air hitting the bumpy/draggy underbody - reducing drag a little. But I don't think it would be THAT noticeable.
Either way, I do...
The opening line of the article tells us everything I need to know about the author and why we cannot trust what they present in their piece. Emotionally charged language always disinterests me.
EV drivers are some of the worst drivers I have even seen on the road. I think, they think all the...
I got a letter in the mail today wanting me to bring my car in for them to fix something with the low pressure fuel line. Has anyone else received this? While I am not 100% opposed to take my car in for this - I just dont have the time to be without my car. So for now, I am going to do nothing -...
Yeah, I think you will need something a little finer to remove the haze. V38 from chemical guys or something with a grit finer than 2500 SHOULD remove the haze.
But this is a good example of doing a test spot first... but, you should have no problem getting it to be perfect again.
