I havent heard of any yet. Mine is one of the first produced and my EDD is 7/21. Whats strange is that Ford has had a $1000 cash incentive on the 2019 Mustang out for a few weeks now that expires on 7/9, yet 2019's won't even be delivered by then. However, my salesman tells me that after 7/9...
I drive my cars/trucks to the point that value doesn’t mean much any more. Usually that’s pushing 200k miles and 20 years old. Yep, I get my money’s worth. One reason I could retire in my 50’s. One of the few exceptions is my current 2019 replacing my 2012 at only 7 years old due to my old age...
My sales guy tells me that 7/9 the incentive either stays the same or will be replaced with something better. I was concerned because my car wont be delivered until 7/21. And I am among the first produced. Dont see how anyone could get a 19 by the 7/09 expiration of the $1000 offer.
Yeah, I saw it too and got to take the color sample outside to compare it to a lightning blue Shelby. It’s definately lighter and brighter especially in the sun leaning a little towards grabber blue. I like the color but not sure if it isn’t too much in your face kind of color for this old man’s...
I usually call and the lady I speak with always qualifies her answer by saying “as of yesterday” so it appears their info may be a day behind. However she is very good at drilling down and getting more detail than COTUS provides. Where as COTUS just says “in production”, she can see where in...
My dealer told me because there was no break in production (6/18 was the last production day for the 18 and the start of production for the 19) and no significant differences between an 18 and a 19, Ford was not waiting for the OK to buy prior to shipping.
Supposedly it only takes a couple of days to complete a car so the blend date is going to be real close to start and finish. My cars blend date was today and it should be finished tomorrow. Don’t know if Flat Rock is running 2 or 3 shifts right now. I would suspect 3 as they are trying to get...
I also discovered that what Ford refers to as the body shop is where the sheet metal components of the body are assembled, welded together and sealed prior to going to the paint shop. Today is my cars blend date, hence the first day of production (when the car is blended into the production...
The inventory manager where I ordered my car said stripes are done in the body shop as well as spoilers added there. I have the PP1 spoiler so maybe that’s all there is to it. A back up of cars in the body could have explained the 4 days. Is this on the new Bullitt?
Called Ford Performance this am for a status update and was told my car was in production and sent to the body shop. I’m concerned what that means. Hate to be spending 50k on a car that was buggered up in production and already has body work and repainting done. Or maybe it’s just some panel gap...
I guess Ford and the evaporator supplier needs a class action lawsuit to get them to take notice! A positive outcome would be a lifetime replacement warranty on the evaporator parts and labor. And Ford needs to get rid of the evaporator supplier if they haven’t already!
Haven’t heard of the...
