Your dealer has access to Ford’s internal Vehicle Visability report. More detail and accuracy than COTUS in my opinion. I ask my dealer to run me a copy of this report every Friday. He has been nice enough to do so.
I hate selling a high performance privately. Too many lookie Lou’s and joy riders that don’t have the cash. My dealer uses Kelly Blue Book when he values the used cars he sells on line and states such value from KBB in his online ads.
My car has been impeccably maintained and shows as good as...
I think the Bullit is a great deal considering all you get. I’m too damn old to be comfortable with a stick any more and would have ordered a Bullit if I could have it with the A10. But that wouldn’t be as authentic would it?
The $1000 retail customer cash on the 2019’s increased to $1500 today and is good until 10/1. With my EDD of 8/5, that works for me. Getting more excited wish Ford would get that beauty on a rail car soon. It’s just sitting there.
I don’t see how it would be worth the money or effort. Just research all the aftermarket EcoBoost systems and pick the one you like best. I’m sure buying the parts across the Ford parts counter would be staggering!
I always make the first change at 1000 miles and always pre fill the oil filter before installing it. Using Motorcraft 5W-20 and a Motorcraft FL500S filter. My 2012 GT motor has no ticks or other funny noises and runs incredibly smooth and quiet. So I plan on following this same procedure when...
Yeah. I wondered if I had got caught up in that. Ford Performance did tell me that as of 6/29 my car was “released awaiting shipment” and the paperwork had been submitted to the carrier. That was over a week ago and no movement.
I’m in the same spot. Car finished 6/28. Just sitting there collecting dust. EDD changed from 7/15-7/21 to 7/30-8/5 according to Ford Performance. So a two week delay for what? Also noticed the level of detail you get from Ford Performance is really dependent on who you talk to.
Guess we didn’t get on the same train. Mine is coming to the Bay Area too but has been sitting “released awaiting shipment” since 6/29 with an EDD of 7/30-8/5. Frustrating to say the least.
If you’re desperate for a Bullitt, a dealer in Fresno, CA has one in stock listed on their website with ADM of $20K. 71K + change for a 2019 Bullitt!
This sounds more like a problem at your dealer’s end. Possibly they didn’t submit the order in a timely fashion and/or dealer allocation issues. Just a thought.
Interesting that Ford took that ugly engine cover off the Bullitt. Probably would have ordered one if A10 was available but age is making the stick/clutch increasingly uncomfortable to me. Wish I was young again, but then I wouldn’t have been able to spend so much money on a car.
I have used a California duster for years on several dark colored cars. Never a scratch from the duster. You don’t scrub with it, just a light touch and shake it out often. And don’t use it on a really dirty car.
A California Duster is your friend. Use daily, followed occasionally with a good spray detailer. Really cuts down on how often you have to wash the car.
