Tested in 78 degree weather. 27 to 28 psi after 20 minutes of driving. It still fish tails on drag mode and adv track off. This is on ps4s 275/40/19. More likely will be getting either 555r2 or new wheels with MT street R. Just thought I give you an update you.
Yeah if I don't get a official answer for the 275/40/19 nitto 555r2. Imma just grab 17 inch wheels and grab MT. Safer cause I know MT will grip for sure.
I read and youtube show 555r2 can be driven in rain. But yes waiting on someone with 275/40/r19 555r2 to chime in. I see a lot of 305/45/17 thread and proven it grips on boosted mustangs, but haven't read anyone on 275/40/19.
If I go MT. I am 99% buying race stars or VMS wheels so I can swap them out. The pp1 for weekend and MT for Mexico nights. If nitto 555r2 275/40/r19 doesn't slip. I'll just buy the nitto 555r2 only and skip the MT. Hopefully I make sense.
Yeah only aiming to go straight line from a 40 roll. Just don't want to waste 1k on Nitto 555r2 to find out i will still fish tail from 2nd to 3rd shift on a 10r80.
I can't do that. if Nitto 555r2 will not make a difference then i will have to go with MT street R with race starts or vms wheels. Was hoping i can stick with stock pp1 wheels with Nitto 555r2. i need that grip for mexico nights :P
I've read a lot of threads and getting mix answers. I have a 2020 Mustang GT 10r80, pp1, e85 only with 10k miles. Still has a lot of life on the PS4s. 40 roll 2nd to 3rd it would fish tail hard. I read on forums that the ps4s performs really good, but to my experience it's not gripping at...
I buy this in a heart beat if i had money. Did you not have a prochargers on this previously? was eyeing this for a while since it had a centrifugal supercharger.
