How is the tire wear on the front? How far onto the shoulder?
You know, to maximize grip on street tires and not kill them quick, itās a fine balance between alignment, roll stiffness, tire pressure, alignment and driving style. Honestly, Iāve never put too much stock in pyrometer readings...
Taking grip away from one end to ācreate balanceā is never a good thing. It may feel faster because your driving effort has increased with a looser car but overall doubtful it will be. Always want to figure out how to increase grip to the end that needs it. How stiff is the sidewall on the...
Thanks. The carpet was purchased through Home Depot. 6ft width and cut to desired length. 6ft was perfect. Cut in half so height of carpet on walls is 3ft.

Because you added all the goodies . To have Intech add carpet to walls would have been almost $2k IIRC. I spent ~$300 for carpet, J channel, fasteners and double sided tape.
Plus aircraft channel is way more expensive than etrack.
I have a 24ā Intech (similar to AC Tech design) Lite. Itās a great trailer. The Lite version has limited options. I upgraded to front cabinets and thicker exterior panel (same color as inthehighdesertās). I added winch, carpet, etrack, jack cradle and tie down hooks. I like etrack better...
Hi Jim. Are you going to Pitt with AI in two wks? Iāll be there with the Camaro. Redid the exhaust; long tube headers, 3ā exhaust and no mufflers š³! Oh Boy! Should be interesting!
I have a 24ā Intech Lite. Great trailer. Intech and ATC are similar. Iāve heard itās because some of the people from ATC left and started Intech. If budget allows, definitely invest in an aluminum trailer. They are lighter, tow better, donāt rust and hold their value WAY better than steel.
Same as mine. 5w50 Motorcraft oil, pressure and temp are fine. Only audible at idle from right wheel well. I drive my hard, no issues and like I mentioned above, noise hasnāt changed at all. Iāve seen some references about a ātypewriterā noise and I think there is a TSB, which said no action...
Mine has had a similar noise since day 1. More noticeable from right front well than left. Hasnāt changed pitch or intensity in 2k miles. Also had an oil analysis at 750 miles and all looked normal.
Hey Jim. Great talking to you on Sunday. First two sessions was having issues with the throttle intermittently not working and adjustable clutch pedal bolt just about fell out.....race cars! Thankfully got it sorted out so salvaged a few sessions.
See ya at Pitt!
Cool. Iāll be at the event at Pitt in July but Sunday only. Iāll be in the garages by the event center on the hill. Stop by if you attend the event.
