Styling is completely subjective. Other than the fact that it is lower (but really still way too large and getting larger each generation) is the most positive thing but it looks kinda girly and the front end isn't very Mustang. These are of course my opinions.Seeing the picture of it next to a...
I'm a screetch the tires, gun it at every red light, do donuts in parking lots type of mustang owner. Its not just the more feminine looks which make me a bit nervous, I actually like the solid rear axle so Im not fully sure at all.
Oh and if you're not overly enthusiastic about it, be honest when you get back and tell us. Ive heard people go both ways after seeing it in person and I really want honest opinions because yeah nothing wrong with the 14s at all as a backup option. I buy it 90% for the 5.0 so I could go either...
You have D plan? You mentioning that and dropping some hints about details of the 750 deals tells me you then work for Ford correct? So are you trying to hint not so subtly that you guys are not going to be issuing more 750 coupons? Because I have never not received them without much effort. Let...
Nope the base GTs do not get black plastic. They get some form of aluminum. Its in the dealer guides I think and if you build your own GT on the configurator it shows cloth base GT seats but metal dash.
That just flat isn't true or I've been very lucky. Request four brochures (mailed brochures) with different variations of your name and one of them WILL HAVE a 750 coupon. Go try it and find out
To get to the heart of the matter regarding OPs point. The PP is just a package. The car is a GT and is labeled very well as a GT. On the back, with the 5.0 on the sides. PP isn't something you badge on a muscle car but the motor is. And its more important.
Man tnat new GT badge just rocks though. I mean I got so used to that fake gas cap medallion thing so this is just so new and awesome. Its so much bigger and bolder and just says GT with no surround. That says a lot about how well a cars reputation is known when it has no make badging like FORD...
I say clunky for a very simple reason. Any nav you have to touch is relegated to clunky status for me after using google nav. I mean havng to go through menus and tap screens is so tediois. I just pick up my phone and say go to safeway or go to starbucks or go to x address and its already going...
You all need to learn to use your phones. I wouldnt use some clunky touchscreen gps let alone pay 700 for it. I mean I literally tell my phone where I want to go and it does everything else in one quarter the time
Yah you don't pay ridiculous amounts more than either or both of those to get them. That only encourages them to play these stupid games. Trust me, they'll offer either a performamce pack or a half performance pack Brembo type package on autos at the latest by next year.
You can get another one. They are never ending trust me. Ive been getting these 750 coupons for five years now. Just request a new brochure for a different model if they don't send you one anyway.
I just realized that with my 750 ford coupon which is available to virtually anybody along with xplan Id be at the exact same price. Thats probably what they are doing.
All of that emotional touchy feely nonsense is NOT what a Mustang is about. Its about an affordable desirable sports car thats cool but accessible to average people. It is absolutely power to price as one key aspect. A pretty little appearance package with people paying 10K more doesn't qualify...
If you weren't on the east coast I would do it. Good luck! Find out exactly how many you need from thedealership and what your deposits will be and you can formulate a strategy.
That's ALL it is. A pretty little appearance package. I question the fools who pay MSRP for it, but the ones who pay 5 to a 10k above are a special kind of stupid. That's a 15-20K swing from xplan on a GT. The performance pack on even a base GT for 32K would kick the living sh* out of your 55K...
Is there only one dealer in your area? 99% of ford dealers participate in x plan. This isnt an excluded vehicle. Its a mass market commodity car. Well the non useless non-LE anyway.
