Thats blatently untrue. Its competitors were running 6 liter V8s and Hemis. The Mustang was powered with a 5 liter V8. It never competed on brute anything. It was a better car than those with IRS because it doesn't matter in a pony car.

I can't think of a single thing better in a Camaro SS or a Challenger RT.

The 2014 Mustang is better in every conceivable way than all of those competitors with IRS. Tbats all you need to know about how worthless that is in a pony car.

I would get one or the other. And the performance pack is the one you want. Add a color accent pack to that (401a) and youll be good. Itll look like mostly a perf pack car anyway if you get both.
