I just want a pre-made setup, maybe the Whipple would do it. I have done my time building custom turbo and supercharger kits on many cars in the past when it was all I could afford (diy). Now, I'd rather save time and frustration and just let someone figure the shit out and let me just bolt...

Cheap is not the goal, I just don't want 800hp for the street. 650 would be a sweet spot, and therefore don't need a 3" exhaust, long tubes, E85, blah blah blah. Stays quiet and streetable.

I just am "blown" away that a company doesn't offer a "Stage 1" s/c setups of some kind with a 650hp level of power. That is very common, and you pay more for the upgraded parts to allow for 800+HP.

So I guess I could contact one of the companies and ask them for options for detuning and see what they say.

I believe the Whipple style have better low-end torque, correct? There are a lot of companies making s/c setups, not sure where to even start on this kind of idea.

I like the idea of adding a supercharger and bumping up the low end torque on this engine, and taking it from 526HP to maybe something like 700. At this point it would be very fast and still streetable without having to worry about breaking the tires loose in third gear the way you do with the...
