No, I noticed my burbles yesterday and thought they were louder than normal (or I wouldn't have noticed them, duh). I suspect it has more to do with conditions than anything. In some conditions, you'll run richer than others, more excess fuel, more burbles.
Just buy the damn things already...
Completely understand. I just wanted to put out the rpms I was hitting, because I did it deliberately.
For sure if you go higher and let off, it burbles more. It also burbles plenty when going down hill coasting. The bigger the hill, the bigger the burble.
As I've said before, just...
No I didn't rev it too high, I believe it was 2k, 3k, and 4k, as I went progressively higher each rev and I took the video from two different angles. I'm not a fan of rev'ing too high without a load even if I do it occasionally.
I'm not going to say it's "set off car alarms" loud, because it's not. But it's a very beefy distinctive sound that makes people take notice, I think my video captured that essence pretty well.
It also doesn't require WOT to get that beef to show through, it's there under mild acceleration as...
I was actually a little peeved after the HP loss was reported, and was ready to write you a nastygram. Then I saw it was different days, and decided to hold off until we had an actual test w/ back to back numbers.
It would be even better to have 3 or 4 of them to see the trend, but the one...
The first one (mine) sounds pretty damn true as long as you have decent bass in your speakers. It's beefy. I specifically rev'd to various ranges so you could hear the difference.
The second recording didn't have very good depth in the device used to record, and it sounded like he only...
I notice it only when slowing under engine braking. It's pretty subtle really. It's easy enough to disengage the clutch and remove the load if it bugs you.
Pretty simple, but you'll have to push the clutch in with brute force, since you don't have a helper spring. :ninja:
Just compress the spring with vise grips, and place bottom into place, then slip top into place and release.
Just make sure you compress it decent in the first place so you...
The one story I've seen reporting a loss of power, was from dyno runs with (I believe) 4 days between them. Conditions were different as posted on the graphs. From what I know about dynos, there's simply nothing you can learn from running the same car across days. Top it off with the fact...
Well, I like my video the best. :)

I should have talked a bit in the beginning so you could set the audio level appropriately, but I didn't think of that. Just make sure to turn it up a good amount.
There's no...
I have the SW H-Pipe, and I will guarantee you, when you romp on it people WILL turn their heads.
I don't normally notice it myself, since I'm looking forward, but when I have friends drive with me, they love to watch people as we drive by.
I can't possibly see how you could be...
I only managed enough daylight to get it washed, then I cleaned the interior along with some Lexol leather cleaner and conditioner.
I'll spritz it down with some detail juice tomorrow and then apply some more sealer and probably some wax if I have time.
I agree it would be nice to not be quite so stiff, but the way the spring 'helps' makes it more a muscle memory action vs a more traditional sense of feel.
I could definitely manage just fine with the spring, but it just doesn't have the right feel.
