I'm no stranger to loud exhausts but this is loud! It is by no means a quiet exhaust. I wanted something civil when cruising around town and that doesn't set off alarms at work lol. It absolutely howls at WOT

umarov +1 on solo, however I went with the XV. It was a blissful commute this morning lol.

Even the xv is loud, by no means is it a quiet exhaust! I though I might end up regretting opting for the XV and not the thunder but I'm glad I got the XV. I pulled up to work today and didn't set off any alarms but anything over 3k rpm and it means serious business! I keep giving it some gas...

Yeah I reused the stock clamp, made sure it went over the little nub and clicked into place on the engine side but that's far as I was able to put the mid pipe in, I was hitting it pretty hard and didn't want to break anything lol. The part I'm referring to is between the red lines. Notice the...

I've been meaning to ask, is this normal? When installing the mid pipe, this is how far it went in, I even took a rubber mallet to it. It doesn't leak and I've made sure it doesn't by starting it up and feel it for leaks. Is this how far it's supposed to go in?
  7. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

What wheels are those? I've seen several folks with them, they look pretty sharp.

Just got around to installing my XV and it sounds absolutely amazing! While I appreciate the adjustable tips (and I truly do) I'm too ocd for those! Took me just as long to calibrate them as it did for the install lol
  9. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

Carved some time to install my exhaust today! Solo mach xv, sounds amazing! Still have the bmr Springs and lock out but that's for another day!
  10. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

Lol it's more aftermarket than it is ford at this point! In for pics!

+1 on Steve being a pleasure to deal with. I called him in Saturday night and probably Sunday lol and he still found time to answer my questions and give additional insight.
  12. Clutch Spring Removal to Aid in Linear Pressure

I just drove it again this morning without a spring and the bogging and jerking are definitely spring related. The drive this morning was glorious. Every single shift was on point . The pedal doesn't spring back at me and causes me to bog down. It's not impossible to drive with it and I'm sure...
  13. Clutch Spring Removal to Aid in Linear Pressure

Spring came out after work today. Rush hour traffic with the spring was infuriating! I kept bogging down unable to accurately feel for the engagement. I'll try it with it off again tomorrow and if it feels much better I'm keeping it off.

She'll find out the second you start it up lol. I haven't tried to fit it in there but I doubt the trunk is that wide.

Welcome back! I hear Hawaii is great this time of year [emoji28].
  16. Clutch Spring Removal to Aid in Linear Pressure

Well yeah, that's never been an issue for me. I just though the springs would prevent slop "if present" but since it's the same as if no spring is present I don't get the benefit. The car drives much better, for me anyways, with no spring. It's much more natural, very easy to gauge where you...
  17. Clutch Spring Removal to Aid in Linear Pressure

That's correct, I'm just referring to the ever so slight dead zone up top. It's virtually identical with and without the steeda spring imho. I can't physically move the pedal up with or without it installed but tthere is a tiny bit of dead zone up top which seems to be normal. That is...
  18. Clutch Spring Removal to Aid in Linear Pressure

That is exactly what I'm experiencing. I'm giving it a couple more days to feel it out and maybe get used to it. The spring did make it lighter but also brought back a tiny bit of that "vague" feel around the engagement point. It also pushes back ever so slightly when you get disengage the pedal...
  19. Clutch Spring Removal to Aid in Linear Pressure

Drove it for another 40 mins and I'm still bogging it more than I did without a spring. I'm also noticing the same tiny amount of play in the pedal up top, almost identical to when it had no spring.
