That describes exactly my situation and current thinking.
The things that put me off about the EB are:
The engine is a turbo four pot and is similar to what I have already with my ST, however with one less cylinder (although with 90 bhp more).
I haven't driven it yet.
It doesn't quite...
Has anyone driven the EB on a test drive yet?
I believe no dealers have any demonstrators.
I've driven the GT, however I want to drive the EB for comparison purposes.
I seem to be at the age where all cars cost the same to insure for me.
Current ST/EB/V8 are all around ÂŁ350, in my 30's with full NCB for SDPC and business.
Definitely getting parking sensors when I come to order. I think it'll save some heartache, plus will make reversing into the garage a lot easier (especially after a hard day at the office).
Glad you're enjoying the car.
28 MPG is quite impressive.
I noticed the handbrake on the test drive, and tended to do the same. Used the foot brake rather than touching the sale woman's leg! Quite easy to hold a torquey car on a hill because you can simply lift the clutch a bit to hold it...
Just test driven the GT (at last). Very impressive car, loved it.
Now I need to test drive the EB for comparison purposes to make sure I make the right decision.
I was waiting for a callback regarding a test drive from Benfield Leeds. They never got in touch. I've arranged one with TrustFord in Barnsley instead now.
