  2. Back home in Florida

Seattle the city has a reputation of people not being friendly, but we did not find that so. Maybe they're more insular and not outgoing, but friendly once you engage. Being a Floridian and an east-coaster, I found Seattle to be too gray and too cool for too long. Doesn't really rain that...
  3. Back home in Florida

There is a lot to like about Washington... Huge year-round snow-capped mountains, rugged seacoast, beautiful deep lakes, high desert... If you can stand the politics.

We're in early pollening apparently šŸ˜–
  5. Back home in Florida

Garaged the whole time. Saw snow once. The trip to FL was another matter... Wanted to save a few $$ and shipped it on an open transporter... Arrived with a cracked windshield. Am now fighting with the shipper. I surmise you're an actual PNW local... Sorry... You'll have to deal with the...

  8. Slow Car fast..... Fast Car slow............ Age old Dilemma

I loved my 135i Convertible. It was very quick, rode well and handled great... Very tossable.
  9. Favorite stripe package.

Naturally, I like my Big Worm 10" stripes with pinstripes:
  10. Hold ‘Em or Fold Em - GT v Mach 1 v ?

Keep your GT. Mach 1s are cool, but performance differences are negligible in the real world and so not worth more than a couple $K over a GT IMO. I do not see them becoming a super-valuable collector's car down the road regardless of their numbers (Maybe the GT350s will, but I doubt it). Look...
  11. Hold ‘Em or Fold Em - GT v Mach 1 v ?

    Here's a sleeper 4cyl Ford for you:
  12. Change oil without draining?

My Jaguar XK (and Aston Martins) with the AJ-V8 (5.0 DOHC) do not have drain plugs. You must suck out the oil. I used a Mighty Vac 7201 (that I sill have). that Jag was sweet, traded it for my current GT.
  13. Ford Dealer with Porsche 911 on Showroom Floor

I'm cool with it. I've been a customer of Kendall Toyota and Ford
  14. Ode to my convertible

Yep. When I lived in Miami, I had a Vette roadster. As you say, from around 8pm to 9am is top down time (outside of winter).
  15. Ode to my convertible

Growing up in Florida, I have never not had a convertible and prefer them to any other car. I hate being enclosed in a car unless its raining. This current GT convertible is my 15th convertible with 2 T-tops and 2 Targa-tops as well. I don't intend to ever not have a convertible.
  16. If you live in a state that requires front license plate, do you rock one?

I have lived in Washington State for the past 17 years. Never had a front plate on my cars, never stopped, never ticketed.
  17. I FREAKING love this car, Ford really hit the ball out of the park!

Meh... I've had Camaros, Firebirds and Mustangs. Today's Camaros may be fine cars, but they don't look like Camaros. Could put a KIA emblem on them and no one would blink an eye. The Mustang is an icon... Hope the 7G doesn't look like the predictions, or I'll go back to something foreign or a...
  18. Wrapped or painted "A" Pillars

Thanks... The mock-ups were old thoughts I never acted on. Being an old guy, I like (certain) cars with a little bit of silver or chrome. My three cars previous to this all had just the right amount for their particular style (IMO) As for the this car, I'm done, other than I really want a...
  19. Wrapped or painted "A" Pillars

And since I'm posting ideas, here's on for fog lights: Planning on finding a plain grill off ebay and mounting these Hellas...
  20. Wrapped or painted "A" Pillars

I've had numerous convertibles with black A pillars and thought about this for my car. I did a photochop... l'm thinking about getting it wrapped or painting with Plasti-dip. Here's the mock-up: Oh, and I painted in the headlight buckets and lower vents
