Hasn’t been on the dyno, Whipple stage 2 kit/tune with 3.625 pulley and 3” cat back exhaust.
I’ve got GT350 half shafts, time will tell how strong they are.
Back to the track lastnight, was hoping to find the 10s. First run of the night ended up being the best. Short shifted into 5th, if I had hit the limiter in 4th would have got in the 10s.
temps got down in the 40s after that run and could t get traction. Also was getting some scary sway on...
I went with the Exedy because it’s a sprung center section with ceramic disks. Hopefully the sprung center section reduces some drivetrain shock. I’ve had good luck in the past with exedy clutches and this one came recommenced from BeefCake racing.
Yes I’m still on the stock clutch at this point, 2000 miles after the Whipple install. I’ve got a exedy dual disk sitting on my work bench but I will wait until the stock clutch starts to slip. Hoping to get back to the track on the 18th. I’m going to drop tire pressure a little more and up...
Did you install yourself or have a shop install? If you installed yourself you should be able to check the file extension that’s in the tomahawk vs what the sent you. Just pop the SD card into your computer and verify file name that’s on it compared to what they sent you.
Call whipple, see what the recommend?
That’s what I would do first.
If you are absolutely set on trying something before calling them, reload the original file they sent you with the kit following their instructions.
Took my 15 GT PP to the track for the first time Friday night. Planned to take it pretty easy and was hoping to get into the 11s without breaking anything. Took a while to get the nerve up to get in the stage lanes lol, I was worried as the last car I took down the track had maybe 350whp and...
I did the boundary gears while doing my Whipple install. Not difficult, just a little nerve racking setting the timing, and pulling reinstalling the harmonic balancer. I enjoy working on the car almost as much as driving it though.
FYI I reused the valve cover and front cover gaskets. Just...
Couldn’t be happier with my Whipple stage 2 gen 4. Believe me for a Street car it makes more then enough torque. My car will roast 305 45 18 drag radials in second gear at 40mph if they aren’t heated up.
The Whipple tune has been flawless, and I installed the kit and OPG myself in the...
Put on a set of forgestar F14s 20x9.5 in the front to match the 18x10s in the rear. Time to decide on springs/shocks now. 305x45x18 NT05r in the rear. Also have 20x11s and street tires for road trip duty.
Looking for at least 2 forgestar F14 wheels in Paino Black preferably. 19 or 20 inch with correct offset for front end of a 2015.
Would also consider a full set of 4.
Cash or trade plus cash on my end with my PP1 wheels.
willing to drive to get them, I’m in Rock Island IL 61201.
Email whipple, they will get back quickly. How many miles do you have so far? Have you checked for vacuum leaks? I had an o ring in The wrong location, caused the idle to hunt.
First to last, some were owned concurrently. Only one I really miss is the 01 Tacoma. A few motorcycles and boats mixed in that are not listed.

yes they are, I was able to get them off with the cow brace in place but couldn’t get them back on. Do yourself a favor and remove the coal brace first. Once it’s off tons of room to access.
