That's odd, im presumming you financed your vehicle? Over how long did you finance?
I know Ford Credit Canada only offers Financing up to 72 months, there would be no other reason why they wouldn't finance you unless they declined your application due to credit.
I ordered in August...
Wow I just love all the hate that goes towards sales people at dealerships.
I have been in sales for 4 years now 2 at Ford and 2 at Chrysler (currently), let me tell you guys a few things from the other side of the fence.
1. There are 2 different kind of dealerships, the first is commission...
Update Today:
Got a call from Ford today, the dealership replaced the PCM (Computer) in the vehicle, they ran a diagnosis on the vehicle with the new PCM and it was still throwing out wrong codes.
As of right now I am at a stand still, I am waiting for Ford Engineering to come out again and...
Just wanted to post an update on whats going on:
FORD CSM contacted me today advising me that the Ford Engineer has advised the dealership to order a PCM for the vehicle, this part is on back order and should be at the dealership within 5 business days.
When the part comes in they will install...

Thanks, I have spoken with Rachael already and she directed me to Nicki who is the Canadian Rep, she than set me up with a Customer Service Manager from Ford Canada.
In my personal opinion I think that it is the computer as well, reason being is that when it got towed in the second time on Christmas Eve it was left there for 2 nights as the dealership was closed, I went on the Friday to get some stuff out the car and I tried turning it on to see what would...
The car has been at the Dealership since December 31st, they have given me a rental which is a base F-150 (that's what you get when you spend $50,000).
Last I heard they have upgraded the status to tier 2 (whatever that means) and that Ford is ending one of their engineer's to come down and...
You are taking this way out of proportion, it's part my fault for not being more clear with my thread.
This is MY worst problem I have had with a new car, this was not meant to be a generalization of all problems had with new vehicles I know that there are far worse things that can happen but...
This is exactly why I like to share stories like what i'm experiencing, it helps spread the word on known issues so that when it happens to someone else they are not completely in the dark.
As far as I know it is normal, I have had that slight jerk in my current Mustang and in my previous 12' which I have owned for 4 years without any transmission problems.
If you are still concerned just go to the dealer and ask them to check it out they will tell you if there is something...
Now I know I'm not the only one with these problems, this is ridiculous I can't drive my car and it is impacting my everyday stuff, I have to borrow my mom's car which is a huge problem as she need's her car as well for work.
Hope they can fix the situation your in man.
Oh man I feel your pain, I'm pretty sure that I have been having the same problem as you on my GT, I don't even wanna drive my car due to it shutting off completely randomly when I'm driving.
Ok so I got my car on the 18th of November and the car now has exactly 2,021 KM, I've had probably one of the worst issues you can have with a new car and it really sucks..... read below my post to Ford Facebook page which explains everything.
I just want to say I love all my Ford vehicles...
