Per Ford the vehicles that were involved and that need to be held at the dealers before selling were produced before 11/26/2017. Based on what I've heard the majority of the 12/20 blend week vehicles have shipped and will be able to be delivered to the people who ordered them without the need to...
Just Ran my VIN with Ford. No active recalls have been reported. Looks like they probably ran the update for all the cars awaiting shipment.

I was able to generate a PIN as soon as I joined and the dealer accepted it, but I have heard some stories of the dealers trying to give push back in that regard.
1) Seems like your trying to justify the reason why YOU didn't buy an 18 not why others didn't.
2) If others make a decision contrary to the one you made it doesn't mean they are "Insane, Not exercising their brain space"
3) The person who posted above you is a woman so she could piss away...

I’ve really enjoyed the conversations and pictures shared on the threads where people have shown off new deliveries of their 2018 Mustangs. In the coming weeks we should have a large amount being delivered and I wanted to start a thread we could share in one place.
I checked the Vins for almost all the cars being sold in my area and each indicated 12-15 Days on average for each delivery which seems remarkably consistent to me. They may have taken their time to get the "Ok to Buy" but Shipping looks like an under promise, over deliver situation. (Pardon the...
Bootlegger and I are both in SC too. His car was blended (completed) on 11/30 and Delivered on 12/12/2017. So two weeks sounds like a fair amount of time to expect delivery. That would put delivery on 1/2/2018 right when they open back up after New Years.
Someone on another thread just placed an order and the delivery estimate his dealer gave him was March-April 2018
As others have said production didn’t start until October, due to forced two week shutdown by Ford, and ok to buy a few weeks after that. It all depends on the type of features...
So I got a call from my dealer telling about the order delivery and I finished their sentences as they explained things
"Car will be built on... Me (12/20)"
"Car was delayed because...... Me (Factory Shutdown in October)
"Car will be delivered..... Me (Jan 12 per COTUS)"
They said well...
Go GT and that's coming from someone who was making the exact decision as you. You already have the 2015 Premium and if you re up on the Eco you will just be doing it for the 10 speed, hood vents, and PP/Magneride.
GT Premium (and Eco for that matter) has many, but certainly not all, of the of...
"Was the Camaro included in the 20% off Black Friday Sales?
That could be the reason."
If you have to discount it 20% to even TRY to sell as well as the Mustang, You've got issues.
