well theyre putting on 2.5 inch pipes now they dont have the tips i want right now so ill be tipless till monday. will see if i like the sound. if i dont the pipes are cheap and ill go back to stock

So the shop im taking my car to tomorrow does not have a Mandrel Bender and uses Aluminized Steel instead of Stainless. Should I be worried about that?

Really just need the pros and cons of a muffler delete with 2.25" pipes vs the 2.5" pipes.

im going to go with the GT Catback if the muffler delete doesnt pan out.

I do a lot of daily highway around 70 -85mph and do a lot of road trips so I dont want it to be loud or have too much drone. Im a little afraid that if I have them take off the resonators I will be very unhappy.

Failed throttle body. Is it the stock TB? If it is youre outta luck mate. Ford throttle bodys are a huge weak point and fail constantly. I had mine replaced under warranty at 5000 miles. I know quite a few more peope on here that have had problems recently. It also seems like the ford throttle...

That sucks dude, i got mine replaced at Countryside Fermam Ford and had the car back in 1 day. They said they had to do an escalated emergency order to get the part overnight. Hope it works out for you. I know if mine craps out again im just gonna get aftermarket one

My coworker at work told me he saw a S550 hood fly off on the highway a couple weeks ago. The driver was going pretty fast on the highway, 100+ mph and we had a tropical storm passing through. He said he heard and felt a gust of wind and the mustang that had just passed him had the hood open...

Yea I thought it would be cheaper to mass produce 1 exhaust for both v8's and v6's. Anyway, anyone notice drone at 70 to 80mph cruising? If there is no drone I may consider asking the Tampa V8 folks for one of their unused exhausts.

Any Idea why Ford wouldn't put the GT pipes on the V6 to begin with?

Which dealership? Contact corporate or reach out to one of the FORD USA reps on here. I would go to another dealership that will give you a loaner.

Dealership needs to replace throttle body, Mine failed around 5 or 6k miles as well. Its a known ford issue.

came in today, something is loose and rattling around inside the spoiler. Any ideas on how to get it out?
