The vast majority of people, including myself aren't used to high compression....its awesome...in same engines in 70's they lost 100 hp just from compression loss. Boost is just a way to raise compression ….and a buncha people must think that going manual makes you a superior human...

your forgetting the compression increase and the upgraded fuel system..so no not close

If your not breaking traction severely it doesn't do any anything ..my best e.t.s were with it on ..I also sent a 1/4 log in and there was no torque management showing

don't know the deal between dealers and ford... pretty sure they make money either way

my 2017 3.5 ecoboost made same exact rattle with same fuel pump....I didn't think '16 had direct injection

I don't know why ford has't said something it pisses me off too....if they would just official say the mechanical fuel pump is noisy I think they'd be better off...but either way ..that's the issue

The problem is that the new manuals can't shift fast because the gearsets are so big and heavy to handle the torque ..they don't engage quickly or at all at high rpms..ive said it in the drag racing forum and I'll say it here..i'll spot a 100 hp difference manual to auto "and dct is even gonna...

3300 is over 1/3 of the price of a total respray..and you get crappy looking lines on wrap edges . and could have car detailed 15 times for that money,,,just saying...

just from looking at everything you have posted, and the oil report..are you sure the supercharger wasn't making the noise rather than the engine?? there's really nothing that would make the clatter you describe from the pics. perhaps the rotors in the supercharger are screwed

If nothing else they dropped boost pressure 2 psi on the gt500's everything else equal.. that's less strain on the engine for more power.....

Man I never knew so many were in the 9's but it is a big country....so,,,,,all of you in the 9's are fully caged and up to nhra safety specs or just street racers or have cool tracks? cuz I like fast but I don't wanna race car
