The best way to desribe it was a "chunk" or "clink", and only at low speeds (really noticeable backing out of driveway.) I didn't notice it at braking.
Then it because a grinding noise that was periodic, then on the drive to the dealer it was non stop. Perfect timing.
Oh, good question. I just assumed it was Kona based on the ones I have seen, but now I am wondering.
It was really bright out, and I had sunglasses, and was being yelled at, so I might be wrong.
No, sorry. :(
We were rushing through the Car Show area to catch eliminations, so when I took the pics I was catching hell from my brother and dad about the mustang fan boy crap. ;)
(Ah, I see Clink hooked you up.)
I hope it's okay if we "zombie" an ownership thread with updates.
17,500 miles thus far. Daily driver including winter. I don't baby the car, and it's held up for the most part, and I still love driving it.
Zombie now has a new set of (ahem) rear skids. I just kept with the stock P Zeros...
I really need to update the store with the new colors, and I added a 5.0 dot for the engine cover. I'm too busy enjoying the car and going to Mustang races. ;)
I should probably mention that I'm sure the OF I saw is the pilot production one that has been posted previously – Ford is obviously using it for events.
The KB looked a test mule (stickers), although I didn't see the OMGTURNITOFF big red kill button inside. :) Only conjecture on my part tho...
Found a couple pilot prod '18s at the NMRA Ford Super Nationals in Columbus, OH on Saturday.
Orange Fury and Kona. OF was at the Ford Performance booth, the KB was snuck in the middle of the car show. Kona had recaros.
Initial thoughts (keep in mind, I am a bit biased because I plan on getting...
Oh no! Well, good thing I didn't throw away the fishing line. ;)
is this info on here somewhere, the listing of the packages? tbh I haven't gone through all 80+ posts in the thread and a search for "Blackout" didn't yield much.
Cool. I just noticed something I missed until now.. Black 5.0, GT, and Pony. Less work for those of us who like that look. :) The "Blackout Package" means no more fishing line and heat guns! :clap2:
Highland Green (color code R) for 1968 Mustangs
Dark Highland Green (color code PY) for 2001 BULLITTs
Highland Green (color code PX) for 2008/2009 BULLITTs
:D
Not sure if anyone answered you (I went through the entire thread, but didn't see it. Maybe I overlooked it.)
According to the file names in this thread, the Magnetic shot is of a Performance Pack '18, and there is no spoiler, so hopefully that's a good sign. :D
Zombie's Bite Sized Sticker Shack -- *Visor Overlays Now Available*
Ah. That is the same thing I ran into. But I was testing the overlays and not being careful.
Good luck, let me know how it goes with Ford.
