Yep your right. This isnt a track car. Please put 4.56s in and go on a trip and see how you enjoy the highway.
Greg O helpful seeing the differences. Its really third and fourth. Must have been some fuel mileage something because the comparison is telling. Anything higher than the 3.73s in...
Back on the topic of torque down low is it possible to change the cams and get more low-end torque? I realize a supercharger would be a big help but I’m not ready to go that extreme at this point
Im for sure believing the tune helps. The new airbox etc is probably useless really. I have a Kand N in there and I bet with the Fordperformance exhaust I have maybe I will just get a tune and a throttle body for now. Maybe the cats next as the headers sound unecessary
Well today I had the pleasure of using the upper end revs passing several cars, a semi, a couple more cars behind an old Winnebago on a two lane road coming through the center of florida. Couldnt be more fun to rev at 7K and pass all that in one pass. However, most of the time Im just looking...
Just a question, if it runs on 87, will run better on 91/93, will it run better on 110? It can be had so should we be running that at the track, etc? Will the computer compensate for that without a tune on it?
Steeda, I am awaiting the rear IFS frame trusses. I heard a batch was out of powdercoat so I am calling to see if they are shipping this week. FIngers Crossed. Its April 20th but maybe earlier if I can get in with my shop.
Yes Naples but just so you know, we are in the dry season so it...
OK thanks. Once I have the Suspension on, I will move on to this as a next step; Im guessing that tune will require premium fuel. Is there an option to switch back and forth with the tunes are all they a full installation process with no different settings if you understand my point?
Also...
I have these to install along with the Steeda stop the hop kit and front truss. Proactive shocks/struts and progress springs. I have high hopes for this set up; dont rain on my parade!
When you say “Build” I hope you are including upgrading your drivetrain to handle the power. Gets expensive pretty quickly and breaking stuff even more so
because I have found at times they dont react consistently to the same input. My 06 GT was the same way, I have a couple of LIncolns, same thing. They react differently at different times
beautiful!! They are the top of the top for sure. I decided I had to be more practical and couldnt go full coilover (well struts are but just not adjustable) So I went with Steeda Active Dampers and Progressive Springs along with their stop the hop kit in the rear with IRS trusses both front...
I have had many Jeeps and finding the absolute right time to drop the top is always a compromise. With Jeeps its mainly because its just too much work. For me, in Florida, you would think you would do it all the time. Well you would at night, and in the day from say December to the end of...
