My manual GT was built as scheduled on 5/18. Looks like there some other factors in play. Possibly locality allocations or even shipping cost management where order fulfillment optimizations are done based on pure shipping costs, regardless of the order priorities.

Just called. The car is In Nashville, TN as of this morning. Next it’s heading to SC on 6/6 where I’m guessing it will be placed on a truck for delivery to the dealership in Charlotte.

Called the dealer this morning. The car has been listed as shipped for almost a week and is still sitting on a ramp in MI. Based on what they have seen so far, I was told to add an extra week to the eta of 6/16-6/22 that I was originally sent.

I wonder what the chances are of these delivery windows being a high estimate.

Cooking with fire now. Blend date was 5/18

The highlighted blend date on the window sticker indicates the date all of the parts are going to be mounted onto the chassis, as I understand it. My production date was scheduled for the week of 5/16, with a blend date of 5/18.

Build date was the 16th of May. Changed to “In Production” on 5/10. Window sticker available on 5/11. Initial production estimate was sent on 4/25 with a 5/2 build date.
