Thank you sir! I haven’t seen a 350R with a wing decal yet. I bet it would look awesome! The transparent decal I went with is subtle until the sun hits it and then it POPS!
In this video, my 2020 Shelby GT500 CFTP gets a 2nd round of Bemaro Films appearance mods (wing, supercharger and steering wheel). I also apply paint protection film to my carbon fiber wheels. I finish the wing decal and wheel PPF off with a ceramic coating and then get the car out in the...
All we know for sure at this point are some color changes and the addition of a carbon fiber handling package as an intermediate option between the base and the CFTP.
A little clarification... the above picture is not a GT500. It is a 2021 Mustang of some sort... probably a 5.0. 2021s are now on the line, but the 500s might be delayed due to the cold weather. Earl said they should start in February.
I reached out to my factory friend again. He confirmed that the pictures I posted are in fact the last 2020 to roll off the line. 2021s are on the line behind it, but this is where the line stopped for the year.
Ahhh, that’s it. The pics were placed on the front page. I guess that’s why someone edited my title, which is not really accurate. It’s not the “last S550 GT500.” There will be 2 more years of cars.
Curious why the pictures I posted got a “Mustang6g.com” watermark. Also curious why my thread title was changed to “The last production S550 GT500 was just built.” I changed the title back to last 2020 GT500.
5000 was the initial rough estimate... then Covid and the plant shutdown happened... then the 2020 production run was extended and we ended up with 5823.
Thanks Earl... I appreciate it bud! I wasn’t sure if the GoPro on the floor thing would work or not... it captured the process better than I was expecting.
The marks on the drain plug and filter housing were both factory marks. For my vehicles that have vertical oil filters, I pre-fill them with oil. This one is on a slant. I did not pre-fill it, but I did watch the oil pressure as I started the car and it immediately came up.
Make sure your automatic lights, AC blower, and nav screen are off or simply put a battery charger or tender on for insurance. Killing your computer can lead to a tow to the dealer for expensive repairs.
Just went to the garage and checked my oil level... it looks perfect after adding the 11.5 quarts recommended in the manual. It is squarely in the middle of the hash marks.
