Tons?? Define tons? 1338 that are listed on autotrader as brand new for 2015 SS. Yea, that's less than a months worth of regular inventory.
Pill, where in the heck are you gathering all these weight claims? As I've said over and over again, the ATS-V is a luxury vehicle. The insulation...
1SS under 3800lbs?!?!?!?! SLIM?!?! Ha! We have already seen a 2SS that has been scaled at 3760. You are a crazy man.
Where have you confirmed the higher engine mounting location? Your mythical sources fail you once again.
Well, it wasn't Steven Ewing because he drove the V6 Camaro and loved it.

Gotta think that lots of people waited for S550 when the 5.0 first came back because there just wasn't a big enough reason to trade up. Now, the S550 is a great reason to upgrade for everyone.
I used to really like the 5.0 sound until I heard the NPP LT1 in the Corvette. I was simply blown away. I wouldn't even change the exhaust out.
The screen looks weird because the passenger side dash is lowered down so the screen just kind of looks there. Its nothing like the true stick on...
I know and understand this. That is why I said that the performance bump was not that great considering my car and a stock car. It's just not there. Wasn't worth it to me to jump into a 2014 GT for $36kish when my car did literally all the exact same things except it just wasn't new.
This...
You have to hold the button for the engine to turn off if you are moving. Once it goes about 8 MPH in Fords you have to do the long press. Under that speed and you hit it and the car will tell you to shift to park. LOL
Tuned, full exhaust with a CAI equals out to 380 at the wheels. Not much performance bump at all on the 5.0 and both cars weigh about the same as well.
It was a toss up in performance department but the GTO is far cheaper (its older so duh) and I can live with its faults.
thePill likes to make stuff up. I enjoy trying to defeat people who make stuff up to further their own agenda. Especially when they have their own "sources" who like to confirm that random made up stuff!
As you can see I've actually been here for a good bit because I was going to replace my...
Which is why its hard to believe that number right?
Plus, it was taken off a SUNROOF equipped car which adds about 70-75lbs in hardware to the highest point of the car.
Yes, the Z/28 got lowering springs from the factory and the smaller wheel helped lower that CoG.
So yes, it makes it really easy to lower the CoG that way.
I don't think you understand how the math really works to change the CoG number.
Upset? No. Im amused that you are digging so far into this that you've confirmed that the car has a higher CoG yet with zero sources to back it up. However, I know that is your MO so its nothing new.
If you take the car and make the roof 1.1 inches lower and keep the engine at the same...
Confirmed where?!?!!? Show the stupid sources.
Once again, you lower the car and the CoG will go up if the engine is in the same spot. Theories about the engine being mounted higher?? Ha.
Once again you are being somewhat crazy in your rantings. The car has ALREADY beat the Mustang in...
The car is shorter (well, lower) now and if the motor is mounted in roughly the same location then yes, the CoG will be higher. Just the way that the percentages work out. Yet, the car does outhandle and outperform the 5th gen by a pretty good margin in stock form and matches the 1LE in certain...
