Why by one tuning device over another?
Does one give you much better display, and information for on track usage?
Does one let you do something the others don’t?
Do they end up crapping out?
How often do you have to buy a new one?
Thank you.
I’ve done a lot of reading and searching on this form in others and talking to people. Since my engine & transmission is stock am I still better to go with Wengerd(popular here) versus HP tuners versus Rousch versus whoever etc.
The reason I ask is because I figured there’s nothing special about...
Who has gotten tired of waiting for the Ford recall on the fuel pumps?
What fuel pump did you go with and why?
Did you have any luck with Ford or their dealership reimbursing you?
I do HPDE so I prefer something that won’t have any problems with cornering at higher G’s than the average...
When you guys do a burnout do your computers or something shut down the power? This has happened few times. I don’t do that many burnouts but is the car supposed to be doing this? In Track mode and turned off all the nannies, including holding the lever for five seconds until it cames on the...
How did you set up a stable table or platform for your mouse and keyboard?
How long did you use it before you stopped using it and sold it? Why did you stop using it?
What did you use your simulator for?
what games did you enjoy playing in it for example?
i’m getting ready to spend 5 to 6 grand...
I tried talking to my dealership, but they were unable to help me. They couldn’t tell me what the part name or number was or anything about it. Supposedly, they can only go by Vin numbers.
What I don’t like is the one I have in my car now hangs down too low and it’s got these very difficult to...
I have a 2022 MACH 1 w/HP 10R80.
Car has 16,000 miles on it.
Transmission was replaced at 10,000 miles under warranty.
ROAD COURSE AND DAILY are more important than drag to me.
I get the impression that most if not all the tunes are the same. So should we just buy the least expensive one?
Does...
2022 MACH 1 with the handling package. 14,000 miles.
I’m trying to decide what to do about my sticking caliper in the rear.
Should I just rebuild the one I have? Should I buy a GT 350 or 500 caliper?
Or will the one for the 2024 dark horse fit and work great on my car?
Or should I buy some...
When a person does a weekend on a road course track, my buddy assumes there’s a lot of brake dust all over the car. There’s also always a lot of track slag.
It seems like it would possibly be more cost-effective to just water down wheel cleaner, and use that to clean the car.
Is it wrong? If so...
From my reading, the temperatures will be in a good range for 15W-50 engine oil in Virginia. 15w-50 should be great even further south/warmer this time of year, and especially as it gets warmer. My only concern would be that the tolerances are search that there is enough space that the 1550 will...

For bearings we used something called “K-factor analysis”, a tool developed by SKF.
On the industrial side (where I spent most of my time) that was the primary tool. I assume that the engine oil folks had...
2022 MACH 1 with the 10R80 transmission. 12,000 miles.
I am thinking of getting my transmission and engine tuned. If I get an engine tune, will it be more likely to overheat on a road course?I got a new transmission under warranty about a month or so but no extended warranty.
I also enjoy...
Hello all,
I know I asked some of these questions before, but unfortunately, most people did not reply with facts about their transmission and data.
Only 10 people replied with some data about their 10R80, in the somewhat similar 7 page thread. I found this post about the MACH 1 sold: Total-...
I’m thinking with adults in leadership now, and finally addressing the din of thieves, corruption, treason, etc., will be a massive win for US! Shutting down a lot of government agencies or putting real USA Constitution be believing citizens in charge of the EPA, etc. will allow manufacturers to...
Joe Pawlowski, the Technical Director for Mister Transmission in Canada, was working with one of his franchisees in Woodstock, Ontario, on a vehicle equipped with a 10R80. The vehicle drove well except for a complaint of a harsh 4-6 shift and noise coming from the transmission that resembled...
Is the class action lawsuit on the 10R80 still going?
how do we find out about it?
I saw where somewere dismissed, but some are still ongoing.
IS THERE REALLY A FIX FOR THE 10R80 to get 200,000 or more miles or are they all only adding 1k miles?
List of failures:
When it comes to Ford 10R80...
