Depending on how it's tuned they may have some issues. Roush uses their own version of IDS for their tuned cars and using Ford's software results in a blank PCM error and wants to reprogram the PCM. We don't see many tuned vehicles from other tuners, and if we have, we haven't had a problem...
I originally thought the Mach 1 idea was cool, get everything available on a GT (minus B&O) in one package. Now I just think - "why." Why not make the Tremec standard? A trans refresh is pretty overdue IMO. Why not make the Mach 1 its own package(s) and maybe continue the GT350?
The only other...
Depends on how life goes. Finally purchased my first brand new car, and a Mustang to boot, so that bucket list item is done. As much as I love the HPP, there's still that itch for a V8. I wish I could afford a coyote swap for my '66 to justify that itch, but that just gets stupid expensive. My...
If you haven't already removed it, the temp/humidity sensor is for the HVAC system to more or less monitor the interior temp and humidity levels so the HVAC module can adjust the temp/mode/recirc doors and trigger the compressor clutch to keep it around the desired temperature.
Usually the cluster can remain lit if it doesn't receive feedback that the vehicle is in park, or you left your lights on.Slight possibility a faulty start/stop switch can cause it, but I don't think I've seen that before. Could also be the IPC module is "stuck" - I had one on a Lincoln do that...
The big screen in those is ridiculous, and I personally don't care for it. All that we have ordered is $50-$60k F150s with huge screens and level 2 clusters. They're nice, but not $60k nice IMO.
I can attest to that lol. Get plenty of people wondering why I didn't go buy a GT (and kinda considered trying to get a GT instead), but at the end of the day I have a sportier EB with what I want optioned (touch screen, active exhaust, sportier handling, tri-bar grille (hate the stock grille))...
With sync 3.4 you can change the background theme in settings for day and night. I forgot where excaptly, but it's in there and doesn't require forscan to change (I too hate the white background). As far as I know, all APIMs are modular which cuts down on costs. When we have to order them they...
Count me clueless then after seeing all the "Ford Performance" sill panel covers lol. I thought they kept some abbreviated "special-something-or-another-team" name.
It's quite a change. After driving the '66 for years as daily, I bought my first "new" car ('18 FiST). That was nice, not having to deal with vapor lock, aftermarket a/c retrofit, no power brakes/steering, sloppy shifter, poor ergonomics for my 5' 11" fluffy frame, no insulation, no good sound...
Makes sense, I think the current team name is ST (sport technologies) that they started slapping on everything (and irritating FoST and FiST owners). Ford being Ford currently with bringing back old name plates (Bronco, Mach 1, maybe T-Bird) an SVO package would make sense. But this is also Ford...
lol we have the exact opposite issue here. 2-3 2020 HPP EB available and just got 2 2021 HPP EB delivered. Sadly (to me), all are autos. I think our last GT was just sold too, white PP1 manual. Wish I could've afforded it, but money isn't great as a tech :/
I found mine through a guy in...
This was my dilemma when I was searching for mine. I wanted an EB/HPP and was considering an auto for the ease of daily driving. The rental I got for when my Fiesta was in the shop changed that though (V6 Charger). So bland to drive and I missed rowing my own. Decided on a manual HPP from...
We just got a '21 HPP premium in antimatter grey, pretty nice color, kinda lighter than magnetic. The yellow reminds me of Springtime Yellow on the first generation (and was the original paint on my '66). We still have a fully loaded metallic red '20 GT500 on the showroom floor dubbed the...
Don't know if you've found your fix or not, you could purchase the harness, but that runs up to the dash. I'm certain you wouldn't want to replace the entire harness for that. You can purchase a pigtail kit for the camera connector WPT-1556 or WPT-1280 and splice it in or just swap the connector...
Sounds like a draw somewhere, or just SOL with the battery. I've seen new Fords/Lincolns with draws from different modules, so don't rule that out. Have the dealer do a draw test or do so yourself if you're able.
TF was he smoking? I ended up with another '19ish GT come in with the same issue. No need to remove the rear glass whatsoever. A-pillar, C/D-pillar, and quarter trim need to come out. Disconnect the connector at the right A-pillar and the connectors to the mirror. Drop it and carefully remove...
Always wanted to learn stick, from when I got my permit to now. Ironically, after I got an estimate on my FiST and a quote on a new HPP Mustang, it got hit in the driver rear door and set me back a couple of weeks. I got stuck with a basic Sentra for a day with a legit dash rattle. Asked for...
