Very well. Find me an instance where the only weights listed for a vehicle are the same for different transmission options and/or trim levels, those numbers just HAPPEN to fall right on a number divisible by 100 and then link it up to this thread and we can talk.
For the record, check out...
Thank you gentlemen. I see we are dealing with a teenager. Answers all of my questions.
Have you even bothered to look at my signature. See a couple of vehicles there that might put me in the target demographic for a Camaro?
Have I ever said I am concerned about Mustang "winning" over Camaro? Camaro will be faster in a straight line, there it is said. All I have stated in this thread is flat out numbers. GM has put up obvious wishful thinking numbers for ATS-V. How am I (or anyone else for that matter) supposed...
Why would ANYONE expect an unbiased answer from either a Mustang OR Camaro site on either one of these vehicles? Frankly if you want an opinion you should go to a Challenger site or M3 site to see what they think looking from the outside. Blows my mind that people don't think their favorite...
I must admit it doesn't help with the GM/Camaro trolls popping up. I am trying with some concrete, factual numbers at least.
Just wait until the Camaro actually hits the streets, it will probably go up by a factor of 10. :headbonk:
Can you read? Its not according to "me". Its according to GM, click the link. And my link clearly shows all Mustang trim levels fastback and convertible.
I'm done arguing with foolishness.
Well lookey there, lots of them for CTS…

By golly they sure manage it with Corvette…...
Funny they seem to have ATS weights in coupe and manual, and not right at a 100 pound mark.

Just admit it, GM has put in placeholder numbers...
They do for 2015 Camaro. Where do you think I got that data? Click the link below or search it yourself. They had no problem posting up actual weights for ALL iterations of the Camaro 1LS through ZL1 in both automatic and manual. I said NOTHING about options, don't put words in my mouth...
There is no f@#$%*^ way that 4 combinations of vehicles all weigh the exact same weight for one and then they magically hit exactly at 3700 pounds. It would be like going to the gas station closing your eyes and saying you are going to get the money right on the even dollar mark without looking...
Just found this load of BS on the GM site….

GM claiming both coupe AND sedan ATS-V weigh 3700 pounds. What a load of shit.
So all manual...
I'm throwing this one up for Pill. Maybe he has seen this maybe not but I thought I'd share. Interesting that the BIW mass only dropped 133 pounds. From GM media site.
I see 168.2 pounds with those savings. Dropping another 8 pounds per wheel and tire combo could get them there. I am...
I'm going to pop these up here with the 200 pounds lost for each to see the targets that GM has "promised" to hit.
1LT coupe manual 3738 -200 = 3538
1LT coupe auto 3722 - 200 = 3522
2LT coupe manual 3802 - 200 = 3602
2LT coupe auto 3784 - 200 = 3584
1SS coupe manual 3908 - 200 = 3708
1SS coupe...
Just about, check this link out. It also has the automatic vs. manual weights which I find important. :)

1LS coupe automatic...
I hope they post up weights soon. I have a bet with a Camaro fan that came over here over 2 months ago and made a bunch of posts in this thread and hasn't posted up since.
I also get this feeling that GM is going to stagger the announcement of weights by trim level as well. They will...
