Looks good! Though I think the hood struts need to swap sides so you can read the "Ford Performance"
I did the same thing too when I installed mine.
You'll have to follow-up once it gets tuned.
Well it sounds like it just comes down to personal preference and money.
A closed box (or stock intake) should help to keep IAT near ambient when driving slow.
Open box, if done correctly, can perform similar. Also can buy it for looks/sound.

Looking to get an aftermarket CAI for my ecoboost mustang.
Something like JLT open CAI or a Corsa closed CAI.
Doesn't have to be these exact brands but want to know which is best, Open or Closed? Why?

Thanks everyone for the responses, sounds like my turbo is fine and that I just need to let everything cool off for a few minutes after driving it hard.
Next question: What would help more reducing temps?
1.) Bigger intercooler?
2.) Bigger/better downpipe?

A little more background.
Was a hot day in Kansas (~90 degrees when this occurred) and went WOT.
It cools back off to rust color in a few minutes and haven't had any issues.
Just want to see if I need to take it into the dealer. Would like to start modifications but want it to work correctly...
Have a stock EB Mustang and went to show it off to family. Got back home and the turbo was Red Hot...
Drove it hard for 1-2 miles, sport mode, just going up and down the road.
Is that normal?
