I totally agree with you.

The ZL1 will have no impact on R prices. The R's are still selling for big ADM's. Most volume Shelby dealers are lucky to get one R a year so there probably not in a hurry to sell it. If you can find one for close to MSRP it's a deal. With only 500 built a year the R is the one everyone wants.

I have driven the 17 ZL1 manual and it will easily outperform my 16 GT350. The ZL1 has much more power and a different power curve than the GT350. They made 11+ cooling upgrades to the ZL1 so it should do well on road courses. The ZL1 1LE looks to be on a different level much more track focused.

Have a 17 Raptor on order.

Don't need facts the magazines will test them head to head before too long and then you will see. And 3 seconds on a track is an eternity in racing.

The ZL1 will destroy The GT350R it will be ugly. The cooling issues have been addressed on the ZL1.

With a good automatic the GT350 would absolutely be faster than the manual and it's ridiculous Ford doesn't offer a auto in the GT350.

So all GT350's get the R rear spoiler. If I had a R I wouldn't be pleased.

Have you driven the Hellcat?? I own one and I've spent enough time in the GT350 to tell what the cars are capable of. I stand by what I said.

I've driven both. The only advantage the GT350 has is on a road course otherwise the Hellcat destroys it. The Hellcat is a beast!

These hood struts work well. It's ridiculous new mustangs don't come with these instead of the horrible prop rod.
