3 Things,
1) I am the OP of this thread but I have never ever put down or disrespected people who serve and have served or will serve. I have much respect for the Men & Woman in the Military, God Bless them and this Country. You must have me confused with someone else. Plus I have never owned...
With all due respect....
Yes, this is all an assumption, its what people do on forums, but at the same time of course the car is going to a performance beast! Ford is not working on a car that is going to be less then that. With the already confirmed 7:eyebulge:hp+, its more than majority of...
Let me clarify, the car it self is going to be amazing as far as performance, looks and straight up badness. What I am not excited about is the battle in the dealership many of us are going to have. The GT350 was already seeing ADMs of $10- $25 and some of those where on Non R models. I still...
Its totally doable from Bakersfield. I make the drive from Long Beach in the morning when I go to Buttonwillow. If you want anything closer then its Motels. Holiday Inn on Marriott Dr. is a clean hotel and cheap . DO NOT STAY at the Extended Stay Hotel of I5.
When comparing car to car of course it doesn't make sense but when comparing fun factor to $$$ its a great substitute. Its all new to me, first hatch, first 4 banger, first turbo and first AWD. When I bought the car I really like it but after driving it for 3 days I really love the car. The one...
Don't get me wrong. I still love Mustangs and especially the GT350. Just because I didn't spend ADM it had nothing to do with my passion. The GT350 was not going to be a garage queen, i would of ran it hard and tracked it. I will be the only one in the RS for 80-90% of the time but those other...
So as the title states I have given up on purchasing a GT350. Being in Southern California the ADM on these cars are ridiculous and even though I do a inventory search on Ford.com and see that there are 65 of them within 100 miles radius but dealers..... (same story) I have even looked at used...
That extra stuff is just to make you feel special, does nothing to the value or performance of the car. Maybe in 30 years when it becomes a classic but by then I will be dealing with another crummy dealer trying to get a 2047 GT350 and not pay $50,000 ADM on it.
shelbyman Where did you get...
I get that people beat on it, but I will do the same and I don't see myself holding on to the car for a lifetime so i'll have fun in it and move on. With any luck I will find one that was babied and I''ll smack it around. I would love to find one out of the area or state and drive it home...
They can't even get the name of the color right. "Slate Gray" Its so frustrating that they can add these ADM. But the Super Rich don't have to pay a penny over MSRP for a Ford GT.
I'm currently looking for a used 17' GT350. All the local dealers are still asking $10K for new. I know there are still dealers out there selling MSRP but just looking around I see there are a lot of 16' and some 17' out there going for $52- 56K. If I can find a color combo I like with the right...
Couldn't agree with you more. This is the main reason I am considering a M2 because I can one below MSRP and although it wont be the same, it will still be fun and I am saved the pain of trying to convince a dealer to sell me a car at a decent deal.
