As the title says. Anyone running a setup like this? The wheel diameter will be smaller than factory, but that should help with gearing and look dope (with lowering springs of course). :shrug:

FWIW - my Magnetic base V6 will be delivered to my house Wednesday. Then it's wheel shopping time :D And lowering springs and exhaust.

Yeah, my thoughts exactly. V6s sound as good as V8s to me. 4s can sound cool also, but not in a "muscle car" kind of way... Not a fit for a stang to me personally.

Yeah, as I said. I plan on picking up a V6 tomorrow (provided any dealers even HAVE one around here). No options, honest to goodness base v6. I will add exhaust / intake / suspension / wheels / gearing to make it what I want it to be. A gorgeous looking daily that is quick enough to not get...

Actually, this is intended to be my daily for the next 10 years... :) My toys are covered. I just thought hey, if a Mustang gets 28 mpg and cost as much as a Fusion... Why not get a decent looking daily that can be hooned on occasion. :)

I might just do that myself. Looking at Ford's homepage, the specification page of the Mustang specifically, it's pretty clear what the characteristics of all 3 engines are going to be. I am sure you guys know all these by heart, lol, but to me the bore / stroke numbers of all these ford engines...

Looks that way. Another complication: Went to the dealer today - no test drives on Mustangs according to them. Need a different dealer. LOL

Well, sticks used to be smooth as silk too. That all went to crap with electronic throttles... Not your fault old man ;)
