  1. Ford performance “GT350” lowering springs (part M5300W) - 2021-2023 Mach 1

Alright guys the verdict is out. The Ford Performance M5300W spring, which is “only for the gt350” per Ford performance… they fit just fine and they should fit fine on any magneride set up. (the last picture on the bottom with the basketball hoop behind is a before picture. You can definitely...
  2. Would you buy a tuned car?

I think the more important factor is how the car was broken in when new and how it was “driven”, I.e) not mashing the throttle before letting the car warm up. These are things you just don’t know when buying a used car. since you usually won’t know this, I’d look for other factors that might...
  3. Ford performance “GT350” lowering springs (part M5300W) - 2021-2023 Mach 1

Nice! I actually just received the springs today and am looking for a reputable shop in Miami to install them. I’ll definitely take before and after pics and post here
  4. Ford performance “GT350” lowering springs (part M5300W) - 2021-2023 Mach 1

Hey Ryan honestly I can’t think of anything that and aftermarket spring could cause damage on a car. Guess I was just being paranoid and I also was told that this M5300W spring from Ford performance (per FP, only for the 2015 through 2020 GT 350) should give a drop of about .75 inches all around...
  5. First disaster - snapped hood bolt

Let me know how it goes with your shop. I’m also in Miami and maybe I can help. I’m not a professional mechanic by any means though. I just went through the situation myself…
  6. Ford performance “GT350” lowering springs (part M5300W) - 2021-2023 Mach 1

I was leaning toward Steeda but just purchased FP because of possible “warranty issues”

  8. Ford performance “GT350” lowering springs (part M5300W) - 2021-2023 Mach 1

Hey Doug Thanks for your input! Regarding the ride height you got, that was also my concern as I was honestly just looking for a more aggressive stance and maybe less roll on turns? Now I’m on the fence going with Steeda’s option versus Ford performance 🤔
  9. Ford performance “GT350” lowering springs (part M5300W) - 2021-2023 Mach 1

thanks a lot that’s what I wanted to confirm! Definitely have Magneride and I see the Ford performance W spring Mentions a .75 inch drop or something like that but I wasn’t sure if that is the same for the mach non-HP comes with already lower springs than gt. I think only the Handling package is...
  10. Ford performance “GT350” lowering springs (part M5300W) - 2021-2023 Mach 1

Hi, just spoke with a Ford performance tech, which I’ve included a screenshot of the conversation stating that there is not a lower spring that they can confirm fitment for the Mach 1. I have the non-handling package and I’m looking to lower my car for street use around an inch or less. I asked...
  11. Mustang Mach 1 - *Compatibility Issues* STEEDA Coolant Tank & FP Oil Catch Can (M-6766-A50A) DONT FIT TOGETHER

I’m gonna give that another crack then! Maybe I was worn out from failure
  12. First disaster - snapped hood bolt

I wish I had taken photos, but no, I don’t. If you literally just drill through the center of the original hood stud, make a hole, and the riv nut will drop right into place. I did use a Dremel and slightly grind down the protruding riv nut that now stuck up about an eight inch above the...
  13. Mustang Mach 1 - *Compatibility Issues* STEEDA Coolant Tank & FP Oil Catch Can (M-6766-A50A) DONT FIT TOGETHER

yeah, I made it work as well. I’m planning to just leave it. But keep in mind. The Steeda coolant tank is larger than the stock tank so my situation was a bit worse than the stock tank which now I’m thinking I should just have left.
  14. Mustang Mach 1 - *Compatibility Issues* STEEDA Coolant Tank & FP Oil Catch Can (M-6766-A50A) DONT FIT TOGETHER

yeah, I definitely prefer to stay with the FP catch can and will probably just leave it tie strapped there because it’s pretty snuggly fitted and pushed up on the coolant tank anyway. I thought about buying a bracket but my welding and metal cutting capabilities are limited and I tried bending...
  15. First disaster - snapped hood bolt

Hey all I have just been through this. planned to drill down the bolt, tap it out, re-thread it, and put in a double sided bolt so I can retain the some washer/nut. Turns out what's under there is a bolt and washer welded together so not thick enough... Plan B. drill out hole and use a M6 riv...
  16. Mustang Mach 1 - *Compatibility Issues* STEEDA Coolant Tank & FP Oil Catch Can (M-6766-A50A) DONT FIT TOGETHER

Hi all! Eric from Miami FL here! First post so forgive if it's in the wrong section. I can't seem to find another post on this... This is pertaining to the passenger side catch can with the Part # ending in "A". It's M-6766-A50A. I believe this is the model for 2018+ BULLIT, & Mach 1. I have a...
